Child, command this compulsion to get out by My name. Not only did My enemy send this compulsion to harass, defeat you, but he intends to destroy your victory too.

Trust Me Child.
Trust Me Child in blind faith. As you yield yourself to me, I’ll set you free from all your bondages, overeating, scales, and especially the bondage of performance based self-approval.
What?
Yes, you only approve of yourself when you perceive yourself doing all things right. Therefore you only approve of yourself on those days you succeed at following all your self-created rules of performance.
Then on other days when you don’t succeed at following your own rules, you perceive yourself a failure. But none of My children are failures. Of course they are all strugglers and learners, but never failures.
It’s because I’m holding on to and teaching each one just as I am teaching you now. And each one will gain their victory just as you will gain your victory too.
Cease striving and know that I am God . . . Psalms 46:10 NASB
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13
When you depend on yourself-inflicted rules, you fail. Because you’ll never achieve perfection in life, in obedience, or even in your food choices. But when you depend on My guidance, then I can lead you to inner peace and victory.
As a matter of fact, I can take your so-called failures and turn them around for your good and My glory. Now to begin this victory journey, read My Word for encouragement and instructions. Then you can see what I speak to you Myself through My words. 
God, the Master, the Holy One of Israel, has this solemn counsel: “Your salvation requires you to turn back to Me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on Me- the very thing you’ve been willing to do. . . . Isaiah 30:15 Message
In great trouble I cried to the Lord and He answered me; from the depths of death, I called, and Lord, You heard me! Jonah 2:2 TLB
Lord, Jonah was trapped in that fish. Now I’m trapped in this food addiction and I’m crying out to You. Help me! Would you deliver me from Myself?
Yes Child, I’m here for you. And I’ll help you. In fact, I’m helping you now. And you’re going to break free from this, for I have ordained it. I’m here to set you free.
“Victory is Mine,” saith the Lord. And I intend for you to have victory as well. In fact, I intend for all of Mine to walk in victory, for I am victory. Therefore victory is yours too. So you will never be a failure to Me.
Now go forth and walk in your victory today.
Yes Sir. Thank you Lord. Help me to follow and obey Your will in all things, in all ways, my actions, words, and thoughts, even to what I eat.
Renew my mind. Make it Yours. Create in me a clean heart and a steadfast spirit. I want to be steadfast to follow Your will in all things

Without a doubt Child, you’re going to be free from your trap of self-inflicted bondage too, for I have ordered it to release you as well. Now watch and see how I work out all things for your good and My glory. So trust Me Child.

I’m fighting this battle. Lord, help me.
Lord, I’m fighting this battle with food addiction and losing. So, if I have the Holy Spirit and the power of God within me, why am I so defeated by cookies, snacks, etc.? So why do I allow myself to become so defeated ? Why?
—But you will receive power when the Holy spirit comes upon you. Acts 1:8 NLT
If we are to have dominion over earth, (Genesis 1:28) then why am I so dominated by cookies, etc.?
Lord, I’ve been reading “The Art of War for Spiritual Battle” by Cindy Trim. So, am I fighting this battle correctly? Am I not praying enough over this food addiction issue?
Child, you do pray over your meals. But how many times have you prayed to seek My will over what you are to eat?
Uh, not many. In fact, I have to admit there’s been times I started eating first before remembering to stop and thank you for my meal.
Oh, I see. So what does that tell you?
It tells me I’m more into my food than Your Presence.
Hmm, I see. And how can you change this?
With Your help Lord, I can do all things.
Hmmm. I see. Do you really believe that?
Yes Sir. 
So today, this is your assignment. Stop before you eat anything . Stop and talk to Me about it . Ask My advice. Ask for My wisdom. Let go of your head knowledge of what is good to eat and what is not.
Seek My knowledge first. Then wait. Don’t start eating until you receive My directions. Then proceed. Hint: Don’t eat broccoli or green beans just because you know they are low calorie. Seek My will first. You may be surprised.
What if those green beans or broccoli are not My will for you at that moment? What if My will for you at that time is something sweet? Now wouldn’t that surprise you?
Yes Sir. It most certainly would.
So Child, that’s My point. I want you to seek My guidance first before putting anything in your mouth. Seek Me first and I guarantee you will have your victory.
Yes Sir. Thank you Lord for guiding me. Help me to seek You first.
Child, as you seek Me, I will lead you.
But Lord, I’m such a wimp.
But Child, if you listen to Me, I will make you into a warrior. After all, I did it with Gideon and I can do it with you too.
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:8 NLT
Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses. 1Timothy 6:12 NLT
And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for. 1John 5:14-15 NLT

I’m fighting this battle by reading God’s Word twice a day, instead of eating snacks.

Expect victory over binges.
Lord, I need victory over binges. I need Your help. I’m caught in a trap, a trap of my own making. Now it seems I can’t get out. Oh why do I go insane at night, especially when I’m tired?
Child, that’s when Satan knows it’s the best time to harass you, when you are tired. Tonight, when you get tired, just go to bed and rest.
Habits need changing. And Child of Mine, this stronghold on you is so strong that you need My power to resist the temptation. Child, I can help you.
But Lord, how? We’ve talked about this many times before. And I’m still trapped, unable to set myself free.
But Child, I can set you free.
But Lord, how? You’ve suggested many things to me before. Then I get so encouraged and start out in victory. Then later, I fall right back into this trap of defeat.
Child, I will lift you out of this despair, this trap, this self-inflicted bondage. I will lift you out and set you free.
But Lord, how?
Child, just call My name.
Lord, when the thought comes to overeat, I don’t think. My mind is blank. All I focus on is what to eat. What do I want to eat?
Child, only I can fill this void you have. It is I who you need to fill you up.
Lord, how?
Call on My name, Jesus.
God will give you victory over binges.
Lord, could You give me a scripture from Your Word besides those I already know? I have head knowledge, but I just can’t seem to get myself out of this self-inflicted trap. I’ve dug this hole and jumped in for the pleasures within. Now I’m trapped and I can’t get myself out.
Child, I can get you out.
But Lord, how?
Call on My Name. Ask for your deliverance in My name, the name of Jesus.
— I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to Me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. Hosea 2:15 NLT
Child, you are now trapped in the Valley of Trouble and defeat. But I am your hope and you will sing of “Victory in Jesus”. And you will gain your victory just as you did many years ago.
Feed on My Word for there is where you will find your strength. You search My word each morning, but then zone out on your social media at night to relax. That’s why your mind goes blank. You have zoned out to relax.
Now I command you – no more zoning out on social media at night for you must be alert and focused. You want success and victory. Therefore feed on My Word each night and it will renew your mind.
Why did you think I told Joshua to mediate on it day and night? Weakness results from physical exhaustion. And I want to build you up in your faith and your power to resist temptation. I want to make you strong.
So, to renew your mind and make you strong, feed on My Word day and night. Take it as medicine for your soul and your mind.
—- Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8 NLT
Through My Word, I will increase your self-control, self- discipline, and renew your mind. Then you’ll be feeding your mind wisdom and strength, faith and power. As you feed on My Word to build your spiritual muscles, it will make you strong indeed. You will emerge undefeated and victorious.
Now here’s your challenge: Feed on My word for 40 days and nights. See how that works for you. 
I want victory over those night-time binges. Don’t you? Night-time binges are the worst. So here’s 10 ways to help overcome those night-time binges that may defeat you.
1. Chew sugar- free gum. You might go broke buying gum, but it helps. I buy a lot and keep it with me. As a matter of fact, I’m chewing some now, that’s why it’s listed first.
Or you could eat a dill pickle. Very little calories or carbs, but the sour taste kills a desire for something sweet. At least it does me.
Use these to help gain victory over night-time binges.
2. Also you could drink a cup of hot tea or coffee. It’s warm, it fills you up, and you can hold it in your hands. Henceforth, keeping them out of the cookie jar. Consequently don’t drink too much or you’ll wake up in the middle of the night- just saying.
3. Read your Bible. Then meditate on those beneficial encouraging scriptures. Memorize them. At least it gives you something to think about instead the food in the kitchen. Also you can even read scripture from your cell phone. Check out this link. You Verse Bible
Use God’s Word for victory over night-time binges.
4. Above all, you can pray — God promises to give you wisdom and strength if you ask. It’s not wise to eat a bucket of ice cream. You already know this, but sometimes you need the power of God to resist the night time binges. This I know.
-If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 — (Gateway Bible Link )
5. Make a phone call. Connect with a friend or a family member. Keep relationships with those you love. In addition, call a co-dieting buddy. Talk about how you can achieve victory over night-time binges. Encourage one another.
6. Pray with your buddy. Use the power of agreement to defeat those night time binges. Consequently this will help both of you achieve victory. But don’t use you phone call to gossip. That’s not nice.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19–20
6. In the meantime you can try on those “goal” clothes in your closet. Who knows, maybe you’ll get those pants on this time. Then you can celebrate by dancing in joy. If the pants still don’t fit, that’s good motivation to not eat.
7. Watch an intense suspenseful movie. Hubby’s watching one now and I had to stop writing to watch. I can’t eat when I’m memorized, can you? Also, some of the stuff he watches makes me too sick to eat. Ugh! One day, during our meal, he watched this ant eat its supper. Gross!
8. Make your own list of ways to resist night time binges. It helped me not eat tonight as I write this. Maybe it’ll help you as you create your list.
9. Mop your kitchen floor. I’m racking my brain to come up with ten ways to overcome night time binges. I know I can’t eat and mop the floor at the same time. So this way will keep your floors spotless. That’s a good side benefit.
10. Finally, for the best ultimate best of all way. Totally surrender it to Christ. Give it all to Him. Talk to Him about your food. He’ll listen. He loves you and He’s concerned about you. You are worthy to Him. He really cares. Give it to Him. That’s the real key to victory- surrender.
Key to victory over night-time binges: -Surrender to God’s guidance.
My child, choose Me-love Me with all your heart. Let go of your overabundant pleasure food. Trust Me. Commune with Me. Then watch and see how I set you free from all that holds you in entrapped.
Now look at Me, not what you see. 
Lord, do I go weigh myself now for a starting point?
No, trust Me, not that box you stand on.
Lord there are so many hurting, so many suffering, even death because they choose You. Yet, here I am full and bloated because I choose pleasure food.
Child, if you will lean unto Me, then I will teach you how to succeed and prosper in your victory. I’ve planned victory for you all along.
It’s a New day for victory.
It’s when your eyes look along at the pleasures of the wayside that you get sidetracked. So look at Me. Keep your eyes on Me. And I will lead you to your victory.
Today is a new day with a new victory, learning to walk, talk, and eat in My Presence. So allow Me to lead you in total dependence on Me. Seek My will, My guidance, and My wisdom in all things.
This also includes what you eat, where you go, what you buy or sell. My desire is to lead you to total victory- for I AM victory.
Yes Lord, I do want to bring You honor and glory. But it seems I am weak.
Child, I AM strong. Let the weak say I am strong.
Victory coming forth.
Lord, when the thought comes, “Get something sweet” or “Get more”, I don’t even stop to think long enough to even seek Your help. In fact, I just go for the sweet junk food or I just eat everything blindly without seeking Your advice.
Please forgive my selfishness. Also would You forgive all my failures to obey You in all things, especially what I eat. Because I have loved my pleasure food more than you. So Lord, help me treasure you more than my necessary food.
Yes, I do want to obey You in all things and achieve the goal of victory You have planned for me. Help me do so.
Child, you can. Remember, you can do all things through My strength which I freely give to you. I’ll give you strength to win all your struggles and all your battles.
Choose Me-love Me, and I’ll set you free from this self-inflicted bondage. 
You shall love the Lord your god with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5 NKJV
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21 NKJV
“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice . . . 1Samuel 15:22 NKJV

My Child, you will learn. But know all throughout your life you’ll be learning. Because life is a process of learning.
So come into My Presence now and I’ll teach you for I am the best teacher. And you will learn. Also know I love you and I gave My life for you. That, My Child, is true love-“Giving”.
As a matter of fact, it’s through giving that true love is expressed. So learn that.
Now give yourself, your will, and your dreams to Me. Then watch and see what I bring about in your life, your victory. After all, the victory I give is the sweetest dessert ever.
Yes Sir, Here I am. I give myself to thee.
Child, you’ll learn life’s not about your pleasure. But instead real life is about My pleasure in loving you. It gives Me great pleasure to love and guide all My children to their personal victory.
In fact, I enjoy watching each one succeed in their individual, personal victories. After all, I created each child to be a winner. You’re one of My winners too. And I give unto you victory over all that comes your way.
Above all else, I want good conversation with you, not your “God-do” list. You feel guilt if you don’t get all your list prayed over. But I feel used when you only talk to Me about your “God-do” list.
My child, prayer is not your list. But rather real prayer is you and I talking together about everything in your life. Together we can talk about the needs of others you are concerned about and your needs as well.
But I also enjoy talking with you about all the events of your life. I enjoy hearing your opinions and thoughts too. What about the weather? I enjoy hearing about all your plans and your dreams too.
Yes, I want one to one, intimate conversation with you. But most of all, what I desire is true, honest conversation between you and I, not just your prayer list.
What I desire is conversation as one who is loved by another who is loved. Overall, I long for real, true conversation with all MY children. Most of the time, I just get their “God-do” lists.
My child, I’m doing something new in your life. So be filled with excitement and anticipation of what I am doing for this is a different adventure, full of wonder and victory. 
So walk with Me. Talk with Me. You’ve heard, “It’s all about relationship.” That’s My truth. It’s My desire to have a deep intimate relationship with each one of Mine. In fact, I want this with all My children, each and every single one.
So Lord, what do You want me to do now?
Rest. For now rest in My Presence. Bask in My love. Share My love with others.

My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from Me, for My Father has given them to Me, and He is more powerful than anyone else. John 10:27-29 NLT
Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love. Romans 8:37, 38 NLT
Deliver me from myself.
Lord, deliver me from myself and my stupid ways. Sometimes I’m my own worst enemy.
I will teach you, Child, how to be a successful overcomer, and how to achieve your personal victory. But first, focus on your submission, for submission is your key to victory and success.
Lord, help me to turn completely to You in all my ways, with a yielded heart before You. Fill me with an increased desire for more of You, the sweetness and the glory of Your Presence.
Lord, I want to be able to stand, or rather kneel, before you with a clean heart and a yielded submissive spirit before You. Renew my mind so that it seeks Your will in all my ways, actions, and words, even to what I eat.
In fact, deliver me from myself, full and bloated with my selfishness.
Lord, I ask for a new heart and a new spirit. I can accomplish nothing in my own power. Therefore I ask for more of Your Holy Spirit and Your power to resist temptations that come before me.
Lord, forgive me for I am a sinner. Help me to turn away from my wicked, selfish sins. Then help me to turn to You with a yielded heart and spirit.
Renew my mind and fill me with a desire for more of You and Your Word.
Child, My Word is how your mind gets renewed. It is My Word that destroys the power of the enemy, even your enemies of selfishness and pride, especially pride in your self-sufficiently.
You can never win over self. But I can help you win.
Come to Me and I will help you cross the finish line to your victory. I am the winner and I always win. Because I am Victory.
So come to Me, into My Presence with a yielded heart. And I will grant you a new heart, a clean heart, and a renewed mind.
Do you not think I can cleanse your mind from all the lies of the mind blinding spirit? The truth, My truth, My Word will set you free, not the words of others, but My Word. So Seek My Word for your truth.
Yes Sir. Help me to do so.
Child, come to Me and into My Presence. Then I will give unto you all the strength and power you need to become an overcomer who walks and breathes in total victory. For I AM total victory.
Thank you Sir. Here I am before You. Deliver me from myself. Cleanse me, make me into what You desire for me to be.

Child, I’ll give you victory if only you’ll listen and obey as I lead you.
Lord, help me.
Indeed I am helping you. But you must be willing to let go. Satan doesn’t want you to win your victory. He doesn’t want any of Mine to have victory. In fact, he wants all of Mine defeated in their weakness.
But I win. As you yield yourself to Me, I win and you win too.
Lord, I turn stupid at night.
Child, I will give you victory. If you’ll talk to Me before eating, then I will fill you with strength and wisdom. Because I intend for you to have victory and for you to be one of My “trophy children”.
So come to Me, first and foremost, before eating more than your body needs.
Lord, help me.
Child, if you’d come to Me, then you would be given new strength and new wisdom. Quit trying to do this in your own power. For I’ll give you victory.
The overwhelming compulsion to overeat would leave. Satan never wins over My Presence. Because I always win. I AM victory. So come to Me for Your victory.
Lord, help me manage my time correctly.
Child, you had time for Me last night.
Yes Sir. I know.
Child, if you would come to Me, I would lead you. For I am in charge of time.
Lord, help me.
Child, I am and I will. Just come to Me for all you need for I AM all you need. After all, I AM your provider.
Yes Sir.
Child, don’t think of yourself as a failure, for you are My “Victory trophy”. You are. Believe it.
There are no perfect people, but God has already planned for your victory.
Yes Sir.
Child, come to Me before compulsive eating. Just 15 minutes, invest 15 minutes in yourself. Place yourself in My Presence. For it is My Presence that gives you victory, My Presence. Think about that.
My Presence is stronger than your compulsions. It’s My Presence that guarantees your victory,
“Victory is Mine”, saith the Lord, for I AM the winner. With Me on your side, you can’t lose in defeat for I always win over all. Yes, all.
Even when it looks as though all is lost, I AM victory. I AM. How many times do I have to tell you? “Don’t look at what you see. Instead look at Me.”
So don’t even look at yourself for you don’t see what I see in you. I see you as My “Victory trophy”. Come into My Presence so you can see what I see in you, My Child. Indeed you are one of My victory trophies.
As each of My children come into My Presence in complete surrender, I re-create them into a Victory trophy. So Child, come to Me for your victory. I am holding your victory in My hand.
After all, I AM victory. Therefore all of Mine are victory too. So come to Me for your victory. I’ll give you victory.
Today Lord, I give you My heart. Forgive my many failures. Lead me this day to Your will in all things. Above all else, I want to make You proud of me. Furthermore I want all the victories You have for me.

God wants a relationship with you.
God wants a relationship with you. The greatest desire of His heart is to have a relationship with you. Yes, YOU.
Below is one of my early morning conversations with Him about our relationship.
God wants to start a relationship with you today.
But know this, what He speaks to my heart, He also means the same for you. In fact, He loves you more than you can ever know. And He will even use your own weight loss struggles to reach your heart.
Child, I’m calling you unto Myself. I’m calling you unto Me. Your relationship with Me is more important versus any “work” you could do for Me. What I desire most is your heart toward Me.
Yes Sir. Help me Lord to love You as You desire. Help me to obey You in all things.
Child, I will lead you as you seek Me.
Thank you Lord for the weight loss in spite of the cake I ate last night.
Child, you’re thinking too small. Just as the story of the lottery winner who said, “Now I can buy a double wide”, you’re thinking too small. Now come unto Me and I will fill your mind with possibilities.
I will renew your mind and make it Mine. So come to Me and let go of all that stubble. I’ll show you what’s most important. I will show you great and mighty things.
Yes Sir. Is my prayer list okay?
Yes, but I’d rather converse with you versus hearing your rote list. Although I do realize lists help you stay focused. So it’s alright. What’s most important to Me is our relationship together.
Yes Sir. Help me to please You in all my ways, actions, words, thoughts, and even my food choices.
Child, what you need is a vacation. But more than a trip, your mind needs to rest in My Presence. That’s where your strength comes from, My Presence. So come to Me for I have much to say to you.
And Child, My words will be more encouraging than any other words you could hear. Allow Me to speak to your heart and mind. Allow Me to fill you with My encouragement.
Obey Me in this and you’ll see a great turnaround in your life.
Let go of all else and come to Me. Then watch and see what I do in your life. Because I do have great plans for you, plans for a hope and a future.
The words He speaks to me also applies to you as well. In fact, God is no respecter of persons. What He means for one, goes the same for all His children. Seek His Presence today. You’ll never regret it. You will find joy and peace in His Presence.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16,17 NKJV
