What Do You Want In Life?

My Child, what do you want in life?

What do you want in life?

To begin with, Lord, I want more of You. And, I want to feel good about myself, instead of feeling embarrassed at my weight gain.

Also , I want my debt paid off. And especially I want to be a good influence for my children and grandchildren so they will know to choose You.

My Child, I can give you all that.

But Lord, how?

Follow Me.

Already, Child, you know how to diet and lose weight. But you lack steadfastness and endurance. Also you need inner strength. Only I can can increase your inner strength, endurance, and steadfastness.

Also Child, you need supernatural intervention with your finances. But I can provide you with wisdom, abundant wisdom. Previously, you made unwise choices without seeking My guidance.

But know this, as you look to Me, I’ll provide you with abundant wisdom to make wise financial choices. I will guide you to financial freedom.

So what else do you want?

Lord, I need more time. I can’t get it all done. Most of the time, I feel too tired to finsih my “to do” list.

Time, My Child, hmmm. So you need more time. To begin with, know your time is more valuable than money. You can always gain more money. But lost time can never be regained. So choose wisely how you use your time.

Before you begin your day seek My will first. Then listen and follow as I lead you.

Most of all Lord, I need more of Your Presence.

You like to track your steps toward a goal. Now turn all your steps toward Me.

But Lord, how?

First, pray withour ceasing. Second, feed on My Word. Feed your spirit, not your body. Overall focus on My Presence throughout your day.

Talk to me all throughout your day. And seek My will over every choice you make. Then yield yourself as I lead you to My will.

Then as you feed your spirit, you will grown stronger in My Presence.

At this time, you focus more on feeeding your body and neglect to feed your spirit. I say, “Feed your spirit and your body will fall in line with My will and your freedom.

Child, I choose you. Now you choose Me. Then at the end of each day, you’ll be pleased and amazed at your success.

Finally, as you walk in My Presence throughout each day, you will behold a miracle- YOU.

What Brings Abundant Life?

For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:10 NLT

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16 NLT

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NKJV

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul propers. 3 John 1:2 NKJV

May the Lord give you increase moe and your children. Psalm 115:14 NKJV

Command This Compulsion

Child, command this compulsion to get out by My name. Not only did My enemy send this compulsion to harass, defeat you, but he intends to destroy your victory too.

Lord, I’m so overwhelmed by this compulsion to overeat. Can I do that? Will it work to break me free of this obsession?

Trust Me Child

Trust Me Child.

Trust Me Child in blind faith. As you yield yourself to me, I’ll set you free from all your bondages, overeating, scales, and especially the bondage of performance based self-approval.

What?

Yes, you only approve of yourself when you perceive yourself doing all things right. Therefore you only approve of yourself on those days you succeed at following all your self-created rules of performance.

Then on other days when you don’t succeed at following your own rules, you perceive yourself a failure. But none of My children are failures. Of course they are all strugglers and learners, but never failures.

It’s because I’m holding on to and teaching each one just as I am teaching you now. And each one will gain their victory just as you will gain your victory too.

Cease striving and know that I am God . . . Psalms 46:10 NASB

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13

When you depend on yourself-inflicted rules, you fail. Because you’ll never achieve perfection in life, in obedience, or even in your food choices. But when you depend on My guidance, then I can lead you to inner peace and victory.

As a matter of fact, I can take your so-called failures and turn them around for your good and My glory. Now to begin this victory journey, read My Word for encouragement and instructions. Then you can see what I speak to you Myself through My words.

God, the Master, the Holy One of Israel, has this solemn counsel: “Your salvation requires you to turn back to Me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on Me- the very thing you’ve been willing to do. . . . Isaiah 30:15 Message

In great trouble I cried to the Lord and He answered me; from the depths of death, I called, and Lord, You heard me! Jonah 2:2 TLB

Lord, Jonah was trapped in that fish. Now I’m trapped in this food addiction and I’m crying out to You. Help me! Would you deliver me from Myself?

Yes Child, I’m here for you. And I’ll help you. In fact, I’m helping you now. And you’re going to break free from this, for I have ordained it. I’m here to set you free.

“Victory is Mine,” saith the Lord. And I intend for you to have victory as well. In fact, I intend for all of Mine to walk in victory, for I am victory. Therefore victory is yours too. So you will never be a failure to Me.

Now go forth and walk in your victory today.

Yes Sir. Thank you Lord. Help me to follow and obey Your will in all things, in all ways, my actions, words, and thoughts, even to what I eat.

Renew my mind. Make it Yours. Create in me a clean heart and a steadfast spirit. I want to be steadfast to follow Your will in all things

Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach. Jonah 2:2

Without a doubt Child, you’re going to be free from your trap of self-inflicted bondage too, for I have ordered it to release you as well. Now watch and see how I work out all things for your good and My glory. So trust Me Child.

Thank you Lord, Praise you Jesus.

Victory Over Night-Time Binges

I want victory over those night-time binges. Don’t you? Night-time binges are the worst. So here’s 10 ways to help overcome those night-time binges that may defeat you.

1. Chew sugar- free gum. You might go broke buying gum, but it helps. I buy a lot and keep it with me. As a matter of fact, I’m chewing some now, that’s why it’s listed first.

Or you could eat a dill pickle. Very little calories or carbs, but the sour taste kills a desire for something sweet. At least it does me.

2. Also you could drink a cup of hot tea or coffee. It’s warm, it fills you up, and you can hold it in your hands. Henceforth, keeping them out of the cookie jar. Consequently don’t drink too much or you’ll wake up in the middle of the night- just saying.

3. Read your Bible. Then meditate on those beneficial encouraging scriptures. Memorize them. At least it gives you something to think about instead the food in the kitchen. Also you can even read scripture from your cell phone. Check out this link. You Verse Bible

Use God's Word for victory over night-time binges.

4. Above all, you can pray — God promises to give you wisdom and strength if you ask. It’s not wise to eat a bucket of ice cream. You already know this, but sometimes you need the power of God to resist the night time binges. This I know.

-If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 — (Gateway Bible Link )

5. Make a phone call. Connect with a friend or a family member. Keep relationships with those you love. In addition, call a co-dieting buddy. Talk about how you can achieve victory over night-time binges. Encourage one another.

6. Pray with your buddy. Use the power of agreement to defeat those night time binges. Consequently this will help both of you achieve victory. But don’t use you phone call to gossip. That’s not nice.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19–20

6. In the meantime you can try on those “goal” clothes in your closet. Who knows, maybe you’ll get those pants on this time. Then you can celebrate by dancing in joy. If the pants still don’t fit, that’s good motivation to not eat.

7. Watch an intense suspenseful movie. Hubby’s watching one now and I had to stop writing to watch. I can’t eat when I’m memorized, can you? Also, some of the stuff he watches makes me too sick to eat. Ugh! One day, during our meal, he watched this ant eat its supper. Gross!

8. Make your own list of ways to resist night time binges. It helped me not eat tonight as I write this. Maybe it’ll help you as you create your list.

9. Mop your kitchen floor. I’m racking my brain to come up with ten ways to overcome night time binges. I know I can’t eat and mop the floor at the same time. So this way will keep your floors spotless. That’s a good side benefit.

10. Finally, for the best ultimate best of all way. Totally surrender it to Christ. Give it all to Him. Talk to Him about your food. He’ll listen. He loves you and He’s concerned about you. You are worthy to Him. He really cares. Give it to Him. That’s the real key to victory- surrender.

Lifestyle Change

Lord, is this way of eating to be a lifestyle change? Will I have to eat this way for all my life?

So I can never eat all I want. Will I always have to consider what’s before me and choose wisely? In fact, am I to seek Your wisdom and guidance over everything I put in my mouth, in my mind, and in my spirit too?

So whatever I eat, watch, read, or listen to, I am to consider my choices and then seek Your wisdom over it all. Overall, I am to live a completely yielded life in complete surrender of all my selfishness to Your guidance and wisdom.

Child, I am teaching you all throughout this process of your life. I will lead you as you seek My guidance. And yes, you will be making a lifestyle change. From now on, you are to seek My will in all things, with every thought, word, or action.

Lord, I need You to guide me for every little detail of my life and all my choices.

Child, I want you to focus on Me and the needs of those around you. Listen to them as they speak. You will learn much. Also I want you to learn from Me. I desire to teach you to listen to Me and follow My guidance without doubt or hesitation.

I want you to be a “follower” of Me, not of others, but Me. So yes, you could say this will be a lifestyle change for you.

Do this for yourself and for those I place in your life. I have a purpose for you and it’s not to be constantly seeking the voice of others. It is to be seeking My voice and following My will.

Listen to Me. Follow My guidance and obey My will without doubt or hesitation. This is the lifestyle change I desire for you.

So learn to listen as I speak and learn to follow as I lead. The key to your victory is surrendering your will to My will.

Okay Lord, teach me how.

Child, I’m in the process of teaching you now.

Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes. See My victory!

Just open your eyes to what I AM doing. As you look, you’ll behold My power working throughout Earth.

Remember when that child laid his hand on your shoulder to pray for you? That was one of My miracles. Consider how I moved- a young child praying at the altar for a grandmother who was praying for her grandchildren. Now that, My child, is a miracle. Two hearts of different generations praying for each other at the altar. That is a miracle indeed.

Now this day open your eyes and look for My miracles and My Presence working in different lives. And thank Me for each victory you see. Expect many victories coming forth for I will have My way and I always win. I AM the winner over and above all. Now watch and see what I will do.

Much is coming forth, miracles, signs, wonders, and revelations of the truth. In fact, I will recognized as the winner over all others. My kingdom will come and My “Will” will be done on Earth as in Heaven. So watch and see what I will do. If you open your eyes, you will see My miracles everywhere you look.

Yes Sir. Thank you Lord. Help me to praise You all throughout my life. Thank you for talking to me to encourage me when I get overwhelmed by all the news.

How many times, My child, do I have to remind you, “Don’t look at what you see, especially in your so-called news. But instead, look to Me. Keep your eyes looking to Me.”

Yes Sir. Thank you for reminding me. I love You.

I love you too, My child. In fact, I love all of My children.

OPEN YOUR EYES AND PRAY:

Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven’

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

He’s Never Giving Up!

He’s Never Giving up on you.

Child, I’m not giving up on you. So don’t you give up on you.

Lord, I need Your help. I feel as though I’m emerging from a drunk. (Note: This was written in my prayer journal, Feb. 2020.) So I’m now praising God for my victory – lost 35 pounds. Praise You Lord.

God has your victory in His Mind.

God is never giving up on you.

Child, you are . . . a food drunk. Now sober up, get up, and wash your face. What’s done is yesterday. Now get up from your bed of self-wallowing. Get up, wash your face and go forth in your new assignment from me.

Lord, again I ask forgiveness for the same old sin that comes back over and over. I ask forgiveness for yesterday’s drunken stupor.

He’s never giving up on you.

Child, I forgive you. Now get up out of this squalor and go forth for I have many plans for you, plans for a hope and a future, plans not to harm you (or punish you), but rather plans to prosper you.

Child, I’ve already told you I’m not giving up on you.

Lord, I’m sorry I keep returning to the feeding bucket. How can I be so stupid?

Yes Child, you love food. But I am going to remove that love from your heart. You will love Me more than your necessary food. I have plans for you and it’s not for you to gain weight or be addicted to food.

No, instead it’s for you to go forth in My assignments. You know, the ones I have planned for you.

There are many assignments ahead, people’s lives for you to touch, talk with, and connect with their hearts. They will touch your heart. Right now, your heart can’t connect due to being satiated with food.

Lord, please forgive me.

Child, I already have. Through all of this you are learning.

So Lord, will I ever get it right?

Yes My Child, you will. But be aware. After gluttony leaves, then pride comes forth. That’s exactly what help to cause your downfall before, pride.

But know this, I have victory over both, over all. So therefore come to Me. Allow Me to rule over you, both your spirit and your stomach.

Yes Lord. Here I am. Take me. I give myself to You. Thank you for not giving up on me.

Child, I’ll never give up on you. Never. After all, I died on that cross just for you. Yes, even for you.

Lord, I Want Your Love

Lord, I want Your love. Help me to return to You as My first love, my greatest love. Help me to obey You in all my ways especially in dealing with other people and my food issues.

We love Him because He first loved us. 1John 4:19

What do You want me to write? Do You even want me to write? Lord, I don’t know what it is that You want for me or with me for that matter.

And I’m so concerned about all my grandchildren, and their parents too, living in the society of today. Lord, I don’t know what I can do.

Child, pray My will be done in their lives.

Lord, help me to only speak words of affirmation, encouragement, and of Your love for them. Keep my mouth shut, clamped shut when, or if, it is full of criticism or discouragement.

Also Lord, help me to love You in a way that it pleases You. I want a real relationship with You, not just the mechanics of routine prayers and Bible reading. In fact, I want a deep relationship with You. Overall, I want Your Presence with me at all times, throughout all my life.

Lord, I want Your love.

We love Him because He first loved us. 1John 4:19

Help me to turn away completely from this unnecessary food that so easily tempts and entraps me to compulsively overeat.

Lord, I do want to lose weight, and I also want to help Hubby lose his extra weight too. But I don’t want him to be skinnier than me. How embarrassing that would be.

So help me to yield Myself to Thee completely and resist temptation to put my face in the feeding trough.

Child if you seek and follow My will concerning your food, you will lose weight. I will lead you and you will have success.

Also Lord, when I write my prayers, thoughts, or even the words You spoke to my heart, I always consider if this would be good to write in this blog. Lord, I want our talks to be about our relationship, not the blog. But if I am to write for the blog, then lead me and help me to organize my time schedule to write and publish.

Child, it will be so.

Lord, I want to know You like those people who say they have a “word” from You. I want to love You like they love You. Also, I want others to see You in me and be attracted to You because of it. Help me to please You in all my ways.

We love Him because He first loved us. 1John 4:19

Lord, I want Your love.

I want a deep relationship with You as I have never had before. I want a new awakening, deep with my spirit.

Make me hungry for You. Yes, I want to be hungry for You. And I want a deeper walk with You too.

Lord, what do You want from me?

Your love, My child, I want your love.

Lord, these people who say they have a “word” from You spend hours in reading Your Word and in prayer too. I don’t have hours due to my job and my home responsibilities.

Child, it is not your hours I want. It is your heart I want. I want your love.

Defeat This Giant

“Child, your weight struggle is a giant before you at this time. So use the rock of My Presence and you’ll defeat this giant in your life.”

Yes Lord, I’ve struggled with my weight and these regained pounds, up and down with the same 10 pounds for basically two years now.

All this time I’ve experienced guilt, shame, or rejoicing due to the numbers on a scale. This year I want release and deliverance. Lord, I’m sick of this struggle. And I’m sick of what I consider to be my failures. Would You help me? I’m ready to move on to the victory You have for me.

And yet with all the problems, issues, and major life struggles throughout this world, I feel guilty talking to You about my weight struggle. So many people throughout Earth are struggling just for a piece of bread. Here I am struggling not to eat the bread.

Child, it’s your heart I want, a yielded heart, seeking My will, full of love for Me. That’s what I desire most. So yield yourself totally to Me. Then I’ll fill you with more of My Holy Spirit to overflow. When you’re full of My Presence, you’ll lose desire for other things such as unnecessary food.

When conditions of this world are overwhelming, you want to to overeat due to stress. Come to Me now.

Sing to Me. As you sing to Me, then My calming peaceful Spirit will fill you with My peace.

Also remember, look away from your earthly news and keep your eyes on Me.

So Lord, how do I keep My eyes on You. How do I look at You? I can’t see You.

Child, look around. What do you see?

I see a beautiful peace lily plant growing.

I made it grow.

There are pictures of my grandchildren.

I gave you their love.

There are souvenirs from our trip to Israel.

I arranged that trip for you.

There are framed cross-stitched scriptures on the wall and prompted up on the floor.

Those are My words presented in a beautiful form to please you and encourage you.

There’s a bowl of rocks I picked up from the valley of Elah where David killed Goliath.

Child, I have many David’s throughout this land who are killing their giants of defeat.

Your weight struggle is a giant before you at this time. So use the rock of My Presence and you’ll defeat this giant.

Just as the Israelites shook in their knees fearful of Goliath, you’re full of fear too. But know this, just as David was full of faith knowing I’d help him, I’ll help you defeat your giant too.

Now go forth in your victory singing praise songs for My glory. Because I have already given you the victory.

Yes Sir.
