(Note: After reading a post from http://www.365fitjournal.wordpress.com, I realized this way of eating is stress-free. I haven’t thought about it. Yes, this is stress-free eating. Notice I said eating, not dieting. Thank you 365fitjournal for helping me see this. -She’s eating the same as I am. Check out her blog.)
80 pounds gone! Victory! How can this be? I’m eating regular food. I’m not dieting at all.
— Lord, I’m so amazed at what You’ve done. I stood on the scales last Sunday and had a total weight loss of 80 pounds. You created this miracle in my life. Four years ago, even two years ago, I never thought this was possible.
For the past 41 years, I’ve struggled with my excess weight and dieting. I’ve experienced so many diet failures that I developed a failure complex and considered myself a total failure at life. Now I’m free and I know I’m not a failure. Continue reading 80 POUNDS GONE, STRESSFREE EATING
Below is a fiction story based on one true fact. In the past, due to overwhelming stress I left Baby Jesus on our dryer for two weeks. I would pat Him every day and say, “Soon, I’ll get to you I promise.” How often do we tell the real Jesus the same thing?
It’s a wonderful thing that due to my excess weight and over eating issues I’ve learned to sit at His feet and seek His advice. Reminds me of a child’s song: “Trust and obey, for there is no other way, trust and obey.”
Thank you Lord for delivering me from 68 pounds. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON!
(Note: Please accept my apologies if you are receiving a duplicate of this post. When I posted this the first time, only half of the article went through. I don’t know why this happened. I did have a virus and carried the computer to the repairman. I thought he had fixed it. I do appreciate your patience and understanding.)
Today Lord, I decided to go for a walk. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and there was a light breeze. The sunshine felt warm and wonderful. I enjoyed visiting with a couple as they decorated their yard. Further down, I talked with a young mother as she supervised her daughter. Instead of it being the drudgery of exercise, this walk was a pleasure. At one point I was singing praise songs to You and I felt Your Presence with Me. Continue reading SHOULD I EXERCISE? (Trying again)
Oh man, . . . I looked at that chocolate cake setting on my kitchen counter! My friend brought it over and my mother in law is eating it, but she eats little small slivers. I have not wanted any of it until now. . . As I just walked by, it called my name! Continue reading THE VICTORY CAKE!!
