Lord Jesus, here I am again seeking Your guidance for this day. Thank you for yesterday being successful. Lord, I pray that Your “will” is complete in our lives today. Guide us all to Your will.
—- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32:8 NKJV
Forgive me Lord, for being so easily sidetracked.
(Yes My child, I am just waiting here for you.)
Forgive me, Lord.
—- And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness…” 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
(This is for you too, My child. My grace is sufficient for you and My strength will increase within you as you surrender your weakness to Me and seek My will. Obey Me in all things and I will continue to lead you.)..
.. . . . Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
(It is through complete surrender and obedience that allows Me to increase My power in your life.)
. . . . . For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV
( My child, when you admit your weaknesses and surrender your life completely to Me without reservations, then I will increase My strength within your soul. Focus on surrender, for it is one key to victory! Surrender and obedience are two keys that bring complete victory.)
—- And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19 NKJV
(Two of those “kingdom keys”, the first of My keys, are surrender and obedience. As you gain experience in the complete use of these two keys, then you will be given more keys as you progress toward your final victory!)
Thanks you Lord, I praise thee, for granting me the use of these two keys of Your kingdom. Help me to use them wisely and completely with the boundaries of Your will.
—- Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24 NKJV
(Surrender and obedience are your keys to your victory, My child.)
—-“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels and then He will reward each according to his works.” Matthew 16:25-27 NKJV
(My child, your “work” is to completely surrender your will and keep up obedience to My will. As you give up your “will ” to Me, I will reward you with total and complete victory. So, stay focused on these two goals, “surrender and obedience” for there is your victory!)

Lord, so much has happened since I last wrote; we lost a dear friend, we lost a dear brother, and now we are caring for an elderly parent in our home. But praises be to you my dear Lord, for You are carrying us through it all!
Lord, I praise You for through all these stresses You have maintained me! You held me in Your arms of comfort. In the past during stressful times I would have turned to the comfort of food, but You Lord were my comfort through all of these events of the past several months. I will be your deliverance.”
Sarah is riding along the “Highway of Life” in her brand new convertible carrying several gifts in the trunk that her Father had personally selected just for her. She has just put the top down and she is driving down the road smiling all smugly and excited just to see what is next down the road. Lord, forgive me. I am only eating two meals a day as You instructed but Lord, I am so hungry when the meals come! I eat too fast and I eat too much! I did good at lunch yesterday. I actually left some and then I gave it away. But last night at supper, I messed up! I thought it would be okay, but this morning I am so full and bloated. I know from experience that if I wake up empty feeling then I am losing weight. But Lord, I am now so miserably full this morning! Lord, should I start cutting my portions in half? I do want to lose weight, but I do not want to go the rest of my life eating only salads, green beans, and baked
