Weight loss, Miracles, – Talking To My Weight Loss Counselor

Good morning, Dr. God. Yesterday, I remembered how You helped me lose 90 pounds back in 2013. So now it’s occurred to me to ask You for another victory. It seems like I need Your guidance all throughout my lifetime.

So now I’m coming to You again for Your counseling. After all, You created this body and You already know everything about it, including how to help me lose this extra weight. I’m seeking Your advice. Because You are now my Dr. God. I guess You should have been all along.

Child, if you stay off from scrolling and focus more on talking with Me and absorbing My Word, then you would become stronger walking forth in your victory. After all, I have already planned victory for you.

Child, you can read My word and other books as well. But the most important thing is for you to communicate with Me. Yes, keep your eyes and your heart for Me. Then I will lead you the correct way to your victory. Seek conversation with Me and read My Word versus your social media. Keep My Words in front of you. Store them in your heart.

Today I have set before you blessings. Actually, everyone gets to choose blessings or curses. With Me on your side helping you with your battles, you will win. But curses are living life without assistance or guidance. No help. So, if you choose your own way, you get what you get with no help. Wouldn’t you rather have My power on your side?

Yes Sir, I do want You on my side.

Then My child, choose to walk in My Presence. Stay close to Me and I will lead you to your victory, the one I specially designed for you.

Yes, My child, I want you to seek My voice over the voices of others. Yes, even those you listen to who are quoting My Word. In fact, I want you to go to My Word for yourself. Indeed, I want you to talk to Me for yourself, not through the voice of others. And I want to lead you Myself, instead of others leading you for Me. In fact, I want you to come to me, seeking knowledge, wisdom, and direction, not another.

Lord, help me put off these deceitful lusts and renew my mind so I desire more of You and walk in your ways. Thank you for Your mercy.

Feed On This

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. and this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1John 5:4-5

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Power To The Weak

He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might, He increases strength. Isaiah 40:29

Child, I will give you power and strength. In fact, I am increasing your strength, day by day, hour by hour, and minute by minute. Praise and worship will bring forth your victory, for it is already on your way. “Victory is Mine,” says the Lord, “Victory is Mine.”

Look, I am giving this land to you! Go in and occupy it. . . Deuteronomy 1:8

Child, I told the Israelites to occupy their land of victory. I say to you “Go and occupy your victory.” In fact, I have already given you the victory. But you must go and possess it. Fight for it.

Just as the Israelites had to defeat their enemies, you have to fight and defeat yours as well. Fight your enemies of discouragement, negativity, depression, laziness, and mediocrity. But know this, I am with you every step of the way helping you as you go.

I am giving you the power to overcome your weaknesses. In fact, I am increasing your strength every day. Now dry those tears, get up, and go forth in your victory, the one I’ve already prepared for you. Rejoice, My child for your victory is at hand.

Look! He has placed the land in front of you. Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged! Deuteronomy 1:21

Trust Me, No Matter What

The Lord says, “Trust Me, no matter what, for I am the Almighty God.“

Lord, we’re looking unto You for wisdom and guidance for all the details of our lives. How we all need You to direct our lives every day. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done.

I AM the Almighty God of all. And I will have My will be done on earth as it is in heaven. But no matter what you see, trust Me, for I am in control. I am the Almighty God of all things. And My “will” will be done.

No matter what you see, trust Me, for I will have My victory. So trust Me. Trust Me, no matter what you see.

Be not afraid, My child. No matter what you see, be not afraid. Trust Me. I will bring you through. I will work out all things for My glory, therefore your good and the good of all those you love. Trust Me for I work out all things for the good.

No matter what you see, trust Me, for I work out all things for My glory and truly your good.

Thank you Lord. Lead me and guide me the way You want me to be, the way You want me to go. Direct all my steps, ways, and words to bring You glory. May Your will be done in my life as it is in heaven.

FEED ON THIS

Be not afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you: He will neither fail nor abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:8

This is My command- be strong and courageous! Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God and I trust Him. Psalms 91: 2

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5,6

Listen to me, you who know right from wrong, you who cherish My law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn nor fear their insults. Isaiah 51:7

It’s A New Thing

Welcome to this new beginning. For several years, I’ve wrote the blog, “Talking to My Weight Loss Counselor- God.” Then over a year ago, I got very discouraged and walked away. Yep, the one who always says, “Never Give Up” just walked away.

But for several weeks now, God’s been speaking to my heart, “Write and it will come.” So, I’m beginning again. Every day, I look at this scripture. God is about to do something new.

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 NLT

God is so much more than a weight loss counselor. In fact, I’d say He’s an awesome life coach. After all, He is the way, the truth, and the life. Therefore, I’ll also write about life issues and spiritual issues in addition to weight loss. So, we’ll see how it turns out.

I know this verse was written to Isaiah, but it seems God has been impressing upon me that He’s about to do a new thing in my life too. What new thing is God impressing upon you?

The real question is, “Are we listening to hear His voice speaking to our hearts? Or do we just go through the motions of life, day by day in monotony?”

One way to get rid of monotony is to seek God’s guidance and wisdom for your day. You could actually turn it into a game, “Ok God, what now?” Then watch and see what He does with your day. You’ll be surprised at how it turns out.

One thing I enjoy is journaling my blessings for each day. In addition, I look for a miracle each day, no matter how small it seems. God will give you a miracle every day too. Look for it.

Today I walked to the end of the cul-de-sac in my neighborhood. Small, but it was a miracle to me. Because I’ve been in recovery from knee replacement surgery. So, walking down to the end of the cul-de-sac is a major event for me.

Now what’s your miracle for today? God gives miracles every day. but you have to look for them. I write mine down in my blessing book every day. At the beginning of this year God told me to look for miracles every day. So, look for your miracles too.
