Showing Off His Power

I enjoy showing off My power within the yielded weak ones, for then it takes away or rather destroys the power of those who think they have strength enough to defeat Me. Therefore, I will show them who I AM, and they will never forget the power of the Great I AM.

A while back I saw a model walking in high heels across the stage holding her head up high, showing off her beautiful dress. Then I thought. “Lord, I don’t want our conversation to be about models. But, I want to talk about You.”

But you, My Child, are like that model.

No Lord, I am wimpy and defeated.

But My child, soon you will be like that model walking around with your head held up high. You will not be showing off your body, but you will be showing off My power in your life.

Oh Lord, do you really think?

After all, it won’t be the first time I used a wimpy, defeated person to show off My power.

Oh Lord, I do want to be used by You. And I hate feeling so down and defeated.

My Child, your strength does not come from yourself, or from your accomplishments, but your strength comes from My Presence.

Thank you, Lord, for talking with me and encouraging Me. Also, thank you for giving me hope for the future.

But My Child, it is here. In fact, your hope is here, for I am your hope and I am here with you.

Thank you Lord.

Child, I use plump people too, not just what you call the ‘beautiful’ people. In fact, what makes one beautiful in My eyes is a heart of obedience. I don’t look at the outward appearance, but I do look at the appearance of an obedient heart. Overall, I can only use the obedient, yielded ones, submissive to My power and My will in their lives.

Yes Sir. Do with me as You will. But help me be strong enough.

My Child, where is your faith? Listen to Me as I speak. Your strength is not found in you, but rather it is found within My power within you.

Yes Sir. When do I get this power?

I’ll give it to you when I am ready for you to have it, when everything is set in place.

Thank you, Sir, for speaking with me and giving me hope. (Then I sensed His laughter as He anticipates what is about to happen.) Alright Lord, so what do you want me to do now?

Read Psalms 34

I will praise the Lord at all times.

I will constantly speak His praises.

2. I will boast only in the Lord;

let all who are helpless take heart.

3. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;

let us exalt His name together.

4. I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me.

He freed me from all my fears.

5. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy;

no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

6. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;

He saved me from all my troubles.

7. For the angel of the Lord is a guard;

He surrounds and defends all who fear Him.

8. Taste and see that the Lord is good.

Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him!

9. Fear the Lord, you His godly people,

for those who fear Him will have all they need.

10. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,

but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

11. Come, my children, and listen to me,

and I will teach you to fear the Lord.

12. Does anyone want to live a life

that is long and prosperous?

13. Then keep your tongue from speaking evil

and your lips from telling lies!

14. Turn away from evil and do good.

Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

15. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;

His ears are open to their cries for help.

16. But the Lord turns His face against those who do evil;

He will erase their memory from the earth.

17. The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help.

He rescues them from all their troubles.

18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

19. The righteous person faces many troubles,

but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

20. For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;

not one of them is broken!

21. Calamity will surely destroy the wicked,

and those who hate the righteous will be punished.

22. But the Lord will redeem those who serve Him.

No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned.

Seek My Voice

Child, if only you would seek My voice and listen. Then I would lead you to your victory, for I have designed a life victory for each one individual. And I have designed an individual life plan for you too. Also, I enjoy talking with you. So come talk with Me.

The moment you were born I had already designed a plan just for you, a plan of victory and success. But you have to choose your own paths of life. You are free to choose My way and therefore My strength and the guidance of My wisdom along your way. Or . . . you are free to choose your own way and your own plans.

It matters not whether you are considered successful in the eyes of others. What really matters is how you reflect My eyes and My love to others. That’s the real victory in life, how you spread My love to others.

Give and it will be given unto you pressed down and overflowing blessings beyond compare. The greatest blessing of all in walking in My Presence like Adam and Eve used to. The greatest blessing of all is to feel the cool breeze of My loving Presence across your cheek. But to be in My Presence, you must seek My voice.

Yes, My child, you are coming out of this slump. You are healed and I will fill you with My energy. Your new life is on its way. I will guide you and lead you in the way you should go.

Child, never give up for I am with you. Come to Me, My child, I will help you and make you strong. I am your High Priest, and I do sympathize with your weaknesses for I was also tempted in every way. And encourage others to seek My voice too.

FEED ON THIS

For every house is built by someone, but He who builds all things is God. Hebrews 3:4

But exhort one another daily, while it called “today” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13

So then, since we have a great High Priest who entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:14-16 NLT

Trust God, Never Give Up — Never Give Up

Come To Me, My Child

Come to Me all throughout your day. Seek My guidance. You call it “Seeking My will.” But Child, . . . do you not yet know it is My will for you to have peace, joy, and love? Therefore, My will, My guidance will only lead you to a “life” more abundantly.

This doesn’t mean more “stuff” which looks to the world as victory. No, instead, this does indeed mean a life full of My joy, peace, and love. My guidance will lead you to your victory.

In fact, it is My will for you to win your victory. Now My Child, come to Me. Allow Me to love on you and fill you with My joy in your life.

Okay Lord, here I am. I give it all to you. I’m a mess. It looks like failure to me. But here I am. I give myself to thee.

Child, you are never a failure. You are My child. And I am going to lift you out of this miry, muddy, sinking place in your life. I am going to pull you out and lift you up.

Just reach out for Me. Look unto Me. Reach out for My hand and I will lift you out of this sinkhole called self-pity and self-judgement. In fact, I will lead you to your victory.

Yes, as you look to Me, your life will end in victory. But I will also grant you victory for today as you go through this day. Each step you take will be a step of victory.

So Lord, what now?

Do what you know, what I have already given you, the assignments for your today. Do what you already know. But keep your eyes, ears, and heart fined tuned to My Presence all throughout your day.

And at the end of this day, as you look back, you will see victory after victory. Now watch and see what I do as I lead you.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm32:8 NLT

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me, I will be found by you,” says the Lord . . . Jeremiah 29: 11-14 NLT
