Child, throw away that self-help book about God and food. So far you’ve learned nothing from it. But if you seek My wisdom, you’ll learn everything you need for success. Continue reading Binge On His Word

So Expect Victory
You said, “Expect victory.” So thank you Lord, for the peace and relief I feel today.
Child, I am peace. Therefore My Presence brings peace. Knowing I work out all things for My glory and your good brings peace. Overall trusting Me with your worries, your problems, and letting go takes the load off you. This brings you relief. Continue reading So Expect Victory
When Praying, Use Caution
When praying, use caution. Be careful what you pray for because you just might get it. Sometimes God answers your prayers just to teach you. Continue reading When Praying, Use Caution
Losing Weight Again
Losing weight again. How good it feels. When I look in the mirror, I now see a slimmer woman. Isn’t it amazing how when we’re losing weight we feel good about ourselves.
God Winked At Us
God winked at us. Has He ever winked at you? Don’t you love it when He does. Today I’m sharing with you a true story of how God winked at us.
To begin, my computer broke. It won’t let me get on internet. So I’ve been writing on an IPad and a cell phone. Bummer. Techie Son said, “Mom, your computer is nine years old. Time to replace.”
Since I have no savings, (Yes, I know. Not smart.) I prayed, “Lord, what do I do? Do I charge it or what?
Don’t charge. Buy and resale. In addition, sell what you have.
So I listed this baking set for sale:
A lady (A) FB Marketplace wanted them. So I arranged delivery/meet time.
My friend (B) at church also wanted them too. But I told her they were already reserved for someone else.
Then Lady A sent me a text saying she was sick and wouldn’t be able to get the dishes. So I let my friend at church know she could now buy the dishes. This thrilled her. After all, she had a matching pitcher and loved those dishes. So we made arrangements for delivery.

Then on Sunday before the scheduled delivery, my friend sat by me in choir. She had tears in her eyes as she explained, “The Lord woke me up at 1a.m. and told me to buy those dishes. But He also told me to give them to Lady A for free. I’ve got to do what God told me to do. So here’s the money. Keep the change.” Wow!
So I texted Lady A and told her the good news. She was amazed and thrilled someone would do this for her. We arranged a delivery time. That was my part, make the delivery, be the chain the middle, and see the smiles of both ladies. (Plus I got paid. Keep the change.)

God winked and we all got blessed. Thank you Lord.
Has He ever winked at you?

Pause in His Presence
Pause in His Presence, that’s where peace is found. The following is from Psalm 46, The Passion Version.
I feel the most important words in this Psalm are, “Pause in His Presence.” That’s where our strength is, in His Presence.
Psalms 46-
“God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you.
So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. – Pause in his presence
God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places.
God is in the midst of his city, secure and never shaken. At daybreak his help will be seen with the appearing of the dawn.
When the nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms, God simply raises his voice and the earth begins to disintegrate before him.
Here he comes! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side. The God of Jacob fights for us! – Pause in his presence
Everyone look! Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God. For he brings both ruin and revival. He’s the one who makes conflicts end throughout the earth, breaking and burning every weapon of war.
Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth.
Here he stands! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us! -Pause in his presence”
Psalms 46:1-11 TPT
Isn’t this just beautiful! Let us behold His glory! And praise His Name!
Talking with God- Part Eight
Talking with God is always a good thing. Here’s the last part of my conversation with Him about the online Bible study I participated in only to later to find out it was a cult. Continue reading Talking with God- Part Eight

Truth Brings Freedom- Part Six
His truth brings freedom.
Because I’d been part of an online Bible study only to later find out these ladies were part of a cult, I had a long talk with the Lord——

The Truth Comes Out- Part Two
The truth comes out. And this is how it all started – Part Two.
(For Part One, see previous post.)
Previously, I’d arranged scheduled times for our little Bible study group (ladies who contacted me via social media) to interact via FaceTime. As we began, they asked me to lead our group with prayer.
Then we took turns reading Bible scriptures. But they always wanted me to read out loud some passages they sent.
They said they needed to hear my English to help strengthen their language skills. Their passages about God seemed a little strange, but I couldn’t find anything I knew was incorrect.
So I continued reading the passages out loud. When I asked them to forgive my Southern dialect, they just giggled. I thought, “How cute.” After I read each passage, they’d say, “Let’s ponder what it means to us.” Okay. Ponder. I haven’t heard that word in a long time. Cute.
Then we’d each take a turn explaining what the passage meant to us. (After pondering.) I couldn’t find anything particularly wrong with these passages, even though it felt strange. But I couldn’t figure out why.
Also they’d send me these little videos and later asked if I understood them. The videos were a little odd. But again, I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
I looked over these passages and couldn’t find anything that stood out. But I just kept having those feelings of question. Were they trying to convert me? To what?I was already a Christian. They said they were Christian too. So what is it? Why do I feel so strange about this? What’s their motive?
By the third week, we now had three ladies and myself as part of our “Bible study” group.
Finally, after seeking God’s direction, I asked them, “To you, who is Jesus?” Followed by, “Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell?” I had gotten these questions from my “Share Jesus Without Fear” App. Here’s a link explaining how this program works : Share Jesus Without Fear.
They answered correctly, “Jesus is God,” and “Yes, we do.”
But when I asked, “What’s more important to you, the Bible or these passages?”
(Part three- coming forth next post. Stay tuned.)
