Our Lord Father- Prayer

Our Lord, Father

Our Lord Father, Almighty God, who is in Heaven,

Our Almighty God, most powerful and most holy,

May Your Holy Spirit fill this earth and all its people.

Lead us to Your way in all our lives, our hearts, our minds, and our souls.

Give us food necessary for our bodies.

But Lord, what we need most is spiritual food for our minds and our spirits.

Forgive us for our many sins, failures, and the pain we caused to others,

Also the pain we caused You when we rejected You and chose our own selfish ways instead.

Help us forgive those who caused us disappointments, pain, and broken hearts.

Help us Lord, to turn away from all temptations,

 

Especially those which lead us away from Your love and Your will.

Deliver us from evil, including that which distracts us from Your love.

Deliver us from the evil that convinces us our own choices are better,

Especially when our choices are against Your Word, and Your plan for our lives.

You Lord, are the source of the real, true love which lasts forever.

You Lord, are the source of overcoming power which leads us to our victory,

Especially the victory You’ve already planned for us.

Let us stay in Your Presence, Your love, and Your will forever and ever.

Thank you Lord, for loving us in spite of our many failures, and our selfish ways.

Forgive us for all the times we rejected Your way,

Forgive us for wanting our way instead of Yours.

Help us Lord, to turn our hearts, minds, and souls completely to You,

So we may have true peace, true love, and complete joy in Your Presence.

Amen

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who is in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. 

And forgive our debts,

As we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the

    power and the glory forever.

I Have Decided

“I have decided to follow Jesus.”

Last night I made the decision to eat all of it. But Lord, I know I would have lost weight if only I had listened to You. So why didn’t I listen to You?I have decided

Yes Child, obedience always has its rewards. Every action has a reaction. Likewise, every decision has a consequence. As a matter of fact, surrendering your food desires to Me will bring you the result you want- weight loss. 

When you decide to let go of the food in your hand before putting it into your mouth, at that exact moment victory comes. At that exact moment, you choose victory or shame. So which will it be? It is all your decision. 

“I have decided to follow Jesus”

Lord, I have decided I want You and the victory You have for Me. But what if I mess it up before the end of the day?

Child, no fear. Why are you afraid? Why do you doubt? Don’t you yet realize that I AM the one true, all powerful, all knowing God? And I am on your side. With My power you can win because I already have your victory planned. 

So now it is up to you. You already have all you need to win. You are a winner. For you only have to decide. So choose your victory. 

Yes Sir. Thank you Sir.  I choose You and the victory You have for me. Today is a day of victory.

I have decided to follow Jesus

The scales went down for me. They will for you too.

“I have decided to follow Jesus.”

Victory and Freedom

Victory and freedom, will I ever be there? Again I chose to overeat last night, including ice cream. Lord, forgive my gluttony. (This was written a while back. Praise God for His delivering power. New Day of Victory. ) 

Child, wrong choices postpones victory. However, you have  free will to choose. So, will you choose your victory or ice cream? Last night, you chose ice cream. Now what will it be today? Food pleasure or victory and freedom, you get to choose. 

Lord, I want victory and freedom.

Then Child, you have to let go of your food pleasures to gain your victory and freedom. 

Lord, I’m sorry I disappointed You last night.

Child, I hurt for you because I know what could be. I know the victory and freedom I hold in My hand for you. Yet you chose self-pleasure with food instead of the victory I designed for you. 

Lord, I’m weak.

Don’t you know every time you say “no” to temptation, it increases your strength? My child, I don’t want you walking through life defeated. Instead, I want you walking in victory.

Today you’ll have another temptation. This time say “No” and experience the thrill of victory. Find your pleasure in victory over temptation. With every battle can come the exhilarating thrill of victory and freedom. Only you can make this choice. I won’t force you. I’m ready to provide all the strength you need to resist temptation. But only if you ask. Then My strength will come. 

Lord, help me to submit myself to Your will.

Child, every choice you make today may seem small in your eyes, but I know the eternal impact. Every choice you make today affects your future. Choose well for it is you who determines your future. I’ve already planned for you a hope and a future, but it is you who chooses to accept My plan or not. 

Now choose well. My way will guarantee you victory and freedom. Choose the way of self gratification and eventually it’ll bring defeat. Defeat is birthed from selfish desires, selfish pleasures, and self gratifications. Total and final victory comes through submission to My will. Now Child, which way will you choose?

I have victory already planned for you, but you determine how long it takes you to get there. You also have the ability to choose victory or not. But I’ve already have it planned for you. As you walk in My will, you’ll experience victory. Now go forth in victory, My Child. 

Yes Sir. Help me Sir.

Child, I’m here for you. Call on Me for I am ready to provide whatever you need, especially endurance and strength. 

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalms 37: 23-24. NKJV 

”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and  a future.” Jeremiah 29: 11 NIV
