Truth continues. After three weeks of online Bible study, I discovered my new friends were in a cult and trying to convert me. Shudder. Then fear came. I hate fear, don’t you?
But after talking to God about it, I had a plan.
To begin with. I got olive oil, prayed over it, and walked the perimeter of our property sprinkling oil on the ground. I also anointed our doors and windows. Oh, and our cars too. Throughout all this, I prayed God’s protection over my family and myself.
Later, I told Hubby. “If the neighbors tell you I was acting strange, They’re right. But I’m not afraid anymore. After all, I have God on my side.”
It’s odd though, I miss their sweet voices, their laughter at funny comments and I enjoyed our Bible studies online. So why did my new friends have to be members of a known violet cult? They tried to convert me. But do you think I would’ve converted them?
I miss them. Is that how they get you in a cult? By being your friend first?
My Savior has the answers to all my questions. His truth continues throughout eternity. So I went to Him for answers. This is how our conversation went-
Lord, may I have Your Presence while soaking in this tub full of water? (Had my Bible, notebook, phones, and a glass of ice water, prepared for a long relaxing soak.)
Child, My Presence is with you no matter where you are. I have no physical limitations whatsoever. So, yes I am here.
Lord, I’ve been thinking about these people. I need to know what You want me to do?
Child, I know your heart.
