True freedom is found in God’s Presence
July is “Freedom” month. But I know true freedom can only be found in Your Presence, Lord. And I want more of Your Presence. Because I know true freedom comes from You.
Child, focus on Me. Seek My Presence throughout your day and you’ll find Me. As you seek My Presence, I will come. As you walk in My Presence, seeking and following My will, you will experience true freedom.
Lord, help me for I am weak. Last night my will to resist temptation completely collapsed.
Child, My Presence will make you strong. It is My Presence that brings freedom. It is submission and obedience to My will that brings forth your victory and your freedom.
For I have come to set you free. In fact I have come to set all free and grant new abundant life, new victorious life, full of My glory for all who will accept Me.
Lord, I need a new touch of Your glory and Your power. I need a refilling of Your Holy Spirit. I’ve become so distracted and consumed by my “to do” list, life’s activities, and many other distractions too. So how do I get back to You and Your Presence? How do I get back to walking in victory?
Child, I am your victory. So come to Me. Victory is not found in the accomplishments of your “to do” list. Rather victory is found in My Presence. As you focus on Me, your victory will come.
Everyday, you determine your victory by what your scales say. But I determine your victory by your submission to My will. When you walk in My will for your life, for your day, therein you will find your victory and true freedom.
Thank you Lord for these words of encouragement and for talking with me. Help me this day to seek Your Presence throughout this entire day, and everyday. For I know true freedom is only found in Your Presence. Fill me, lead me. I give myself to thee. Do with me as You will. Help me to be strong in Your Presence.
