“Deliverance is only as good as our obedience.” Lord, that’s in my Bible side notes. So now what? What do You want me to do?
Trust Me.
Lord, I do trust You. In fact, You’re my only hope. So . . . what do You want me to do? What do You want me to eat today? Do I eat at all? Should I fast today, or what?
Lord, I try to say all my prayers, but it seems I’m just going through a list. In fact, I am just going through a list.
Child, I want you.
Lord, I want You too. But I feel so empty and void. How can I get back to Your Presence?
Just call My Name and I will come. In fact, I’ve been calling you unto Me all this time to offer you deliverance, freedom, and My love. But you’ve not listened.
It’s not the demands of life that interferes. But rather it’s your focus. Child, I want your focus on My love for you.
Also Child, you didn’t seek My wisdom concerning your choices yesterday.
So how can I grant you deliverance from food obsession if you don’t seek My wisdom? And Child . . . it’s not My will for you to follow My will in some things and not all things. Overall I want your surrender and your focus.
Lord, help me.
Come to Me
Child, come to Me. I want you to come to Me in total surrender, all that you are and all that you will be. Then watch and see what I will do in your life. Because I will grant you deliverance.
For now you are in boot camp and I’ll teach you and train you in self-discipline. Then you will emerge strong, very strong. And You’ll be one of My warriors.
Your friend who was in the military said boot camp was tough. But after boot camp, it gets easier. So for the next 40 days you are in boot camp. It’ll be tough. But you’ll emerge victorious.
But Lord, what are the rules?
Child, I’m not about rules. I’m about your heart and your soul. I’m about your victory over what keeps you defeated. And I’m about your deliverance and freedom too.
It’s My desire to make you strong an victorious. Overall, it’s My desire for all My children to be victorious for I AM victory.
It grieves Me to see you so weak and beat up by your own self . After all, it’s My intent to make you strong and victorious.
Yes Sir. Thank you Lord for not giving up on Me.
Child, I never give up.
