Child, It’s Time You Work for Me

Child, it’s time you work for Me.

Lord, forgive me. I’ve wasted so much time on mindless scrolling through social media. Help me break away from this new addiction.

So, Child, what did you do for Me today?

Lord, I sent a prayer to a friend of mine.

Child, I’ll ask again. What did you do for Me?

Okay Lord, I did nothing today.

Child, look for something you can do for Me today. In fact, look for something you can do for Me every day. Do you remember when I spoke to you last year “You will work for Me, or you will work for Me?”

Yes sir. I remember.

Well Child, it’s time you work for Me.

Okay Lord, show me how. Lead me, guide me.

Child, working for Me is more than just reading your Bible and saying your prayers. After that, you think you’re finished your work for me. But no, I say you’re not finished working for Me. In fact, you will never be finished until it’s time for you to come home to be with Me

So, what do you want me to do?

First of all, seek My will for each day. Then open your eyes to see those I place around you. Look for someone to speak My love to.

Lord, I do ask you every day to lead Me to your will.

But Child, you keep your eyes focused on that social media. Come up for air, My Child. Look up to see those around you. Look around to see those who I place in front of you. Tell them about Me. Tell them of My love for them.

Yes Sir. Help me do so.

Child, your walking steps don’t matter until you’re walking as I lead you. That phone is not your source. I AM your source. So today look for the one I send to you.

Yes Sir.

Child, first of all, look for the people I place in your life. The real live people that I place before you are more important. People, individuals in person are opportunities to share My love are the most important.

Withdraw from your social media. Breathe in My Presence. Become so full of My Presence that it becomes an aroma surrounding you. I want to cover you with My Presence.

Yes Sir. Help me yield, help me surrender my will to Your will.

Child, as you listen to My voice and obey as I lead. You will be overjoyed with the results; both victory in your life and in the lives of those I send to you. Look for at least one person every day. I will send one every day if you will only open your eyes to see and open your ears to hear their heart cries.

There are people all around you with heart pain, emotional hurt pain, or just struggling to survive life pain. Those are the ones to look for. Those are the ones I will send to you, if only you’ll look up from that phone.

Yes Sir. Help me to follow Your guidance in obedience and be a yielded vessel. Help me to experience a real life of victory, not life of social media, but real people socially in person.

Lord, I do ask for forgiveness for all the time I have wasted zoning out on life. And I ask for forgiveness for pleasing my flesh versus seeking to please You.

Create in Me a new heart for You and Your Presence, Your will. And Lord help me to be steadfast in obedience and love for You. Grant me the exact words to share Your love with others.

Child, I want you to focus on the people I place before you. Share my love with them.
