Seek My Presence

My Child, seek My Presence, rest in My love. Know I’m not a performance-based God. No, instead it’s My desire for you to seek and enjoy My Presence. So cease from your striving for perfection and enjoy My company, My Presence. 

You can never achieve even your own performance standards. So let go and just enjoy My Presence. For My Presence is sweetness for your soul. My Presence will fill you with peace and joy unspeakable. 

My love for you is not based off what you do. Instead My love for you is based off what I’ve done. You can’t earn My love by your so-called good performance. My love is freely given to you for no reason except I want to give it. I want to give you My love- not a “to do” list. I just want to love My people  and help them to know my love deep within their hearts.Seek My Presence

This is My focus- to exchange love with My people. I love them and I long for them to love Me. They’re not to strive to earn My love. After all it can’t be earned for the price is too high and no one can pay it, no matter how rich they are. But I freely give My love to each and everyone, no matter their walk in life. I am concerned over each individual. And I reach out in My love to all, to each and every single one.

People have been so beat up with all their man-created religious rules. They beat up on each other, full of judgements and accusations. Then they compare themselves to each other to measure their own performance standards. And all I want to do is love them. 

But Lord, what about all those rules You gave to Moses and all those rules in Leviticus?

Child, each one of those rules were to make their lives better and easier. Living by those rules will bring you a better life versus the concept of “do whatever you want to”. If you look at those who follow the philosophy of “do whatever makes you happy”, they are miserable.

Your victory is assured

Because of Me, your victory is assured.

Selfishness causes much heartache. The rules I gave help bring order and peace. When people do whatever makes them happy by living for their own selfish desires, it causes much pain and heartache. I knew selfishness caused misery, so I gave My rules as a gift of wisdom. 

People think if they only please themselves then they would be free to enjoy their lives in their own pleasure. But it doesn’t work that way. 

It’s only living a life in My Presence that brings true peace, joy, love, and deliverance. It’s only My love that sets people free to truly enjoy their lives.

These rules are to guide them until they come to know My love. When My Presence and My love rule over their hearts, then they won’t need to be concerned with rules, for I will lead them and guide them to an abundant free life, full of joy and peace. My love is the answer for all their questions.

I do not expect perfection from My children, for I know they are weak and frail humans. But I do long for their love.

Seek His Presence

But seek first the kingdom God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Seek the Lord while He may be found , call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6

But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works. Psalm 73:28

We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of god, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

An Ongoing Relationship

I can do all things

It’s all about an ongoing relationship. That’s what Jesus wants with you.

In our life group at church, we were discussing whether Christians should ask forgiveness every time they sin or not. Once you ask forgiveness, that sin is erased. But what about the sin you commit tomorrow, whether by accident or wrong choice?

It’s the old “once saved, always saved” argument.  Do you think a person can just pray a sinner’s prayer, live a sinful life, and then expect to go to heaven because they once said a sinner prayer? What do you think?

This is my opinion- It’s all about an ongoing relationship.

In comparison we have to wash dishes and clothes most every day. We  also have to wash our bodies every day or we will stink to high heaven.

As a Christian, you may be forgiven and saved, but sometimes you mess up in sin. You do this either by mistake or by choice. But just because you prayed the “Sinner’s Prayer” for salvation doesn’t mean you don’t need to ask forgiveness for your daily sin.

And we all daily mess up, backslid,  or make wrong choices in life. But the whole point of it all  is to maintain a relationship with Christ. Communicate, talk with Him about it all and do ask forgiveness.

He doesn’t want to condemn you.

Instead He wants to love you and help you live in victory.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the poser of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:1,2 NLT

Ongoing Relationship

My husband and I have a good relationship. But if I chose to go against his wishes, it would hurt his feelings. So I apologize when I mess up.

Confessing a sin is apologizing to God for our mess ups. He knows when we are weak and that we sometimes make stupid choices. But He’s always there just waiting for us to come to our senses, realize who He is, apologize, ask forgiveness, and renew our relationship with Him. He loves you just as you are, exactly as you are. But He intends to make your life victorious, no longer defeated by sinful choices.

If I never apologized to my husband for my errors, mistakes, or mess ups, it would hurt our relationship. But if I immediately apologize when I  know I’ve mess up, then our relationship stays strong. And it’s the same for him too.  He’s also apologizes to me when he realizes he messed up. After all, it’s all about our relationship, not who’s right or wrong.

This is what Christ desires from you, an ongoing relationship with Him. He doesn’t expect perfection for He knows you are human. And He understands your weaknesses.

He only longs for a strong, ongoing relationship with you. It’s not something you just do on Sunday. He wants to be involved in your daily life, every detail of your life.

He always sees what you can be with His help. And He wants to help you succeed with a life of victory. Success is not being rich or famous. It’s a life with peace of mind and peace of heart. Success is freedom from all that keeps you in defeat.

True peace can only be found in an ongoing relationship with Christ. He already knows everything about you, even with all your failures. And He loves you just as you are. His intent is to turn your life around from one of failure to a life of victory in Jesus.

You may think you have it all together, but I know I don’t. And I have no shame in asking Jesus for help. Only God can remove the inner garbage within our souls. Only God can renew our minds and cleanse our hearts.

What a wonderful thing it is to know that in spite of my many failures He still loves me. He really loves me. He really loves you too. And he wants an ongoing, deep, honest relationship with me and you.

That’s all He asks, to be our closest best friend forever. And He wants you to talk to Him about every detail of your life. Your friends may tire of hearing every detail of your day. But God never gets tired or bored with the details of your life, He’s very interested in you and your life. He hangs on every word you speak to Him. Talk to Him today. After all, its all about an ongoing relationship He wants with you.

Lord, if You kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord could ever survive? But You offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear You. Psalms 130:3,4 

(Fear is this case means respect. Again, my opinion.)

Peace of Heart and Peace of Mind

God is your victory

The Presence of God is your victory.

Peace of heart and peace of mind is the greatest prosperity there is. And My plans are to give My people a hope and a future, not to harm them, but to prosper them.

So come to Me. For I am always here for you . Yes, I know all about the needs, and heartaches throughout the world. And I am concerned over each individual right where they are. Each story is different and each life is different. But I am concerned over every minute detail of each and every life. 

I am immediately by the side of all who cry out to Me – to provide comfort, strength, knowledge, and yes, even healing.

I am not a God who chooses which person to go to. No, instead each person chooses whether to invite Me to come be with them or not.

I do not go where I am not invited. But I am the Almighty All and everything to those who do invite Me to be in their life. I bring hope where there is no hope. I bring comfort where their is no comfort. And I bring love where there is no love. Above all, I bring peace. Peace of heart, Peace of Mind

Some people can’t forgive themselves. Therefore they resent Me and blame Me for the way their life turned out. But I offer complete forgiveness and a new beginning to all who invite Me into their life. 

Yes, the world is in trouble. But I have come to bring peace, true peace to hearts and true peace to minds. If only they would invite Me in, then I could bring them peace within the storm.

Lord, there is so much hate.

Child, there is always hate and there will be until I bring forth the new heaven and the new earth. 

Although, . . . hate  can be destroyed one heart at a time.

As they open their hearts to Me to receive My Presence, I will remove their hate and replace it with My love. 

But it takes an invitation and a yielded heart before I will enter in with My Presence. Otherwise, I do not go where I am not invited. 

God gives true peace

God gives true peace.

I am not a God who forces Himself on individuals. Instead I am a God who waits to be invited in. But to those who invite Me in, I am everything they need. 

Mainly I am peace, peace of mind and peace of heart. I am peace, strength, courage, and most of all I am love, not hate.

When you see hate, know that I am not there. 

There is a war happening now, a war over minds and a war over hearts. But know this – I will win! I always win for I am the Almighty!

And My plans are to give My people a hope and a future, not to harm them, but to prosper them. The greatest prosperity is peace, peace of heart and peace of mind. 

Now come to Me. Then you can watch and see what I will do within your life. Look for Me. As you open your eyes, you will see My love for you. I AM your Victory!

Peace of Mind and Peace of Heart

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefor we will not fear, . . . Psalm 46:1-2

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
