Losing weight again. How good it feels. When I look in the mirror, I now see a slimmer woman. Isn’t it amazing how when we’re losing weight we feel good about ourselves.
Even if it’s only a few pounds, it changes our self image. We see ourselves as attractive when losing weight. And when we’re gaining weight, we see ourselves as fatter and unattractive.
It’s so wonderful to be losing weight again. The best part is not feeling ashamed before God. At this time, I’m eating in submission to the way God led me to eat.”
When we’re obedient to God’s guidance, we feel lighter. My shoulders are now free from shame and guilt. The scales are going down because the heaviness of guilt and shame are gone. Instead I have peace and confidence.
Because of this I feel so much lighter both in spirit and body weight. Thank you Jesus. Help me to continue walking, living, and eating in your will. For your will is the best, most rewarding way to live life.

SOMETHING TO CHEW ON
“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!” Psalms 27:14 TPT
“God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you.” Psalms 46:1 TPT
“After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.” John 6:12-13 NLT
Even Jesus didn’t waste leftovers. I love leftovers, especially those from a restaurant. Makes me feel like I got to eat out twice.
