She Lost Almost 100 lbs.
McDonald’s food addict loses almost 100 pounds. Wow! If she can, then we can too, especially with the power of God on our side helping us.
Back in 2013, I had lost over 90 pounds following the way God told me to eat- three meals a day, half portions and no snacks. Back then it seemed so easy. I was amazed. Then I walked in freedom for almost four years throughout 2017.
Now two years later, I have gained approximately half of that back.
Three days ago, I made a new commitment to eat in submission to God’s will for 40 days- https://talkingtomyweightlosscounselor.com/2019/11/16/40-days-of-victory/.
How about you? Is there an unwritten rule that says we have to overeat during these upcoming holidays?
Why do we made excuses to overeat just because of the holidays? Wouldn’t it be wonderful as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we also celebrate a new birth for ourselves walking in the victory He planned for us?
So why not consider making a new commitment too? Let’s commit together to eat wisely for our victory this holiday season. If a McDonald’s food addict can lose weight, so can we.
Speak these words daily, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” You can do this. You can have victory this holiday season. Believe in the power of God, the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Walk forth in your victory, the one He has already planned for you.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. 1 Corinthians 10:13 TPT
So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. there we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it the most. Hebrews 4: 15,16 NLT
