Good morning Lord. How are You?

(Good morning, My child. I told you last night what to do, but you didn’t listen.)

(It broke My heart to watch you disobey Me!)

     Lord, I am sorry!

(My child, if I am to use you, it is very important that I know you will listen to My voice and obey Me.)

      Yes Sir.

(I have to know that I can trust you, My child. I only let those in the Holy of Holies that are clean and pure and obedient to My will. Obedience to My voice is more valuable to Me than sacrifice. You know that, My child.

It is more than your “weight” that is at issue here, it is your willingness   to submit to My will. It is the “surrender” of your desires and your wishes that I long for, a surrendered, humble, contrite heart, for I highly value submission to My will. An obedient child is highly treasured. My child, this was a test and you did not pass. Now I am unable to use you as I would have due to your rebellion and disobedience. The blessings, that I would have rewarded you for your obedience,  are now aborted, My child. Would you not yield to Me all of your desires, even those for pleasure, satisfaction, greed, and so forth? My child, knowledge is valuable, but unquestioned obedience and a humble contrite heart submitted before Me is the most valued. I would have your heart filled with compassion versus your stomach filled with food.)

Lord, I now realize that I have shown, proved rather, that I loved the food more than Your voice. Help me to love Your voice more than my necessary food. Help me to love Your Word more than my necessary food. Help me Lord, to “fast”, to live a “fasted lifestyle” before You. Help me Lord, to love You with all of my soul, with all of my heart, and all of my mind! Lord, would it be wrong to ask that You fill me with Yourself, Your Spirit, and Your Word?

(No, My child, it is not too much to ask, for this is what I long for, to fill you with Myself! I can only use, or fill rather, a yielded empty vessel, empty of selfishness.)

Yes Sir, use me as one of Your vessels. This is what I want!

(Then, My child, give yourself to Me, GIVE YOURSELF TO ME! For I long to hold you in My hand. I long to commune with My children. You, yes, I long for you! My child, don’t turn away from Me!)

Oh Lord, I am so sorry! I never thought that as I turned to the food that I was turning away from You!

(Yes My child, you are turning away from My will for you and from the rewards of obedience, from the rewards of following My will. Blessings were not rewarded due to your disobedience. My child, listen to Me! Hear My voice! Obey Me, for I have much is store for you. I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Seek out and follow My will, for My yoke is light and My yoke is easy! Come My child into My presence, allow Me to fill You with Myself! I plan on using you for My glory, My child. Allow Me to fill you with “food” that is beyond any that you could ever eat! Allow Me to feed you with My manna, My Word, and My Spirit! I can only use completely yielded vessels!)

Lord, forgive me, for I am “full” of sin literally!

(My child, come here to Me. I love you and I have much in store for you!)

Lord, help me to stay totally yielded to You in every way! Here I am, do with me as You will Lord! Help me to obey you in every way, even to every bite of food that enters my mouth! I bow before You, do with me as You will!

Isaiah 55:2-3 NKJV:   . . . Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you –the sure mercies of David.

Isaiah 55: 6-8 NKJV: Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
