Lord, . . a one pound weight GAIN!!! How can this be??? I have followed what I thought was ‘Your’ eating plan for me! I am eating only three meals a day and what I thought was half portions. I have eaten small deserts with each meal, but I thought it was acceptable to this eating plan. I thought I was just to focus on smaller portions and only three meals a day. Lord, . . . Praise God for setting me free!
Written on a Saturday morning after a party:
—-Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. . . . . . Romans 8:26 NKJV
Lord, do You still love me even when I sin? Last night, at a Sunday School party I really overate! I turned completely away from the “eating plan” that You directed me to! But Lord, I enjoyed every bite so much that I just threw caution away and ate until I became bloated! I binged on sweet pickles and cinnamon bread of all things, but Lord, they were so good! Lord, do You still love me even when I sin?
(Yes My child, I love you like no other! I died for you while you were still immersed in your sin, remember?)
Yes Lord, I remember. Help me to turn away from the weight of this sin that so easily besets me!
(My child, I see you as finished and complete, standing glorious before Me without spot or wrinkle.)
— I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, . . . Isaiah 61: 10 NKJV
—- There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 NKJV
(My child, I did not come to condemn you. I came to set you free, free indeed!)
— Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36 NKJV
(Rejoice in My love, My child, for I have come to set you free and you will be free indeed!)
Lord Jesus, forgive my anger. Help me to have the attitude that please You. Lord, I want You to fill me, not the anger.
(Let go, My child, of what is in your hand and I will bless you. Let go of your self-desires and I will increase My Spirit within you.)
Lord, help me, guide me.
— I will instruct you, I will teach you the correct path, I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32:8 NKJV
—- Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good consciences, and from a sincere faith. I Timothy 1:5 NKJV
Lord, give me the kind of love that pleases You.
— And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. I Timothy 1:14 NKJV
Thank you Lord, for Your grace, and Your love. Help me to please You! I am so sorry about my behavior.
— Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in sight of God our Savior. I Timothy 2: 1-3 NKJV
Lord, am I to pray for him and his co-workers?
(My child, praying is battle in warfare. Prayers are what moves mountains. Do you think he is more powerful than I?)
No Lord, he is not more powerful than You, it is that I have just given up!
Child, My warriors do not give up! Instead, My warriors rise up!)
Well Lord, show me, teach me how to pray for him because he irritates me with his words and I don’t agree with anything he says!
(My child, I will teach you. Pray first that My Will be done, that witnesses minister to him the truth and then pray for his heart to change.)
Alright Lord, may Your Will be done in this place, here on earth just as in heaven. Lord, send to him witnesses of Your glory and grant him a heart change. Lord, Your will be done in this situation. Amen

Lord, I want Your Holy Spirit to instruct me and I also want to “feed” on Your heavenly manna!
( Then eat of My Word, My child. If you eat of My Word then you will be “full” of My heavenly manna!)
——How sweet are Your Words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103 NKJV
Oh Lord, thank you! I didn’t know that Your Word was our “manna” today. The Israelites in the desert had Your manna, which was a sweet wafer like a bread. But today we have Your Word, which we should consider “sweet” but it seems that today no one wants to read Your Word. We are all on our computers or our cell phones. I am guilty myself of choosing to play on my toy of technology. Lord, I ask for forgiveness each time that I chose my toy over Your Word.
—– Direct my steps by Your Word. And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133 NKJV
——Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way. Establish Your Word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You. Psalm 119: 36-38 NKJV
Lord, fill me with the desire to eat from Your Word and not eat from the abundance of earthly pleasures in the kitchen, in the restaurants, or in the market. But rather Lord, let me be full of a desire for You and Your Word.
—-I have not departed from the commandments of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. Job 23:12 NKJV
(My child, if you will feed from My Word, My heavenly manna, your physical body will decrease and your spiritual body, your soul will increase. I will fill you with Myself and you will be full forevermore.)
Oh yes Lord, I desire to be “full” of You, of Your Holy Spirit, and of Your Word! Fill me with Yourself! I am Yours, do with me as You wish!
(Come here, My child. Sit with Me! Behold I come unto you with My Presence. Allow Me to satiate your soul!)
—- For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. Jeremiah 31:25 NKJV

Lord, let me fulfill what You have called me to do. I ask for forgiveness for the sins of my heart and the thoughts of self-pity, resentment, and anger.

Lord, help me to follow Your will in everything I do, say, and think. Lead me to the food that You have for me, both the spiritual food and the physical food. Lord, I bow in submission before You and I desire obedience to Your will this day and everyday. Lead my steps according to Your plan.
( My child, I will lead you. Listen, open your ears unto My voice! Wait in quietness for My directions. I will lead You! I have promised to lead those that seek My will and I keep My promises therefore I will lead you.
It is so easy for you to become distracted due to the modern tools of communication. But communication with Me is best. Lay aside these modern tools of communication to focus on listening to My voice, for My way and My direction is the best. I have My best ready for you!)
. . . . So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build” . . . . Nehemiah 2:20 NKJV
I will build my words of praise to You, my Lord, for You will prosper my steps according to Your plans! Therefore, I will offer praises unto You for Your glory! Yes Lord, glory unto You!
(Wait, before you take a step, wait! Turn your ears toward Me, seek My will and I will direct your steps. I say unto you, wait! Wait for My directions, for I will not lead you into confusion but rather, I will lead you into victory! Wait, I say unto you, wait! Just as the Israelites waited in the desert until I moved, then they moved. I say unto you, wait! Wait for My directions, for what you eat, what you speak, and the actions you take. I want you to stay covered under the protection of My will, for My burden is light!)
—-If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it. Matthew 10: 39 NLT
—-Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him. John 6: 27 NKJV
—-And Jesus said to them, ” I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:35 NKJV

Lord Jesus, here I am again seeking Your guidance for this day. Thank you for yesterday being successful. Lord, I pray that Your “will” is complete in our lives today. Guide us all to Your will.
—- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32:8 NKJV
Forgive me Lord, for being so easily sidetracked.
(Yes My child, I am just waiting here for you.)
Forgive me, Lord.
—- And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness…” 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
(This is for you too, My child. My grace is sufficient for you and My strength will increase within you as you surrender your weakness to Me and seek My will. Obey Me in all things and I will continue to lead you.)..
.. . . . Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
(It is through complete surrender and obedience that allows Me to increase My power in your life.)
. . . . . For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV
( My child, when you admit your weaknesses and surrender your life completely to Me without reservations, then I will increase My strength within your soul. Focus on surrender, for it is one key to victory! Surrender and obedience are two keys that bring complete victory.)
—- And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19 NKJV
(Two of those “kingdom keys”, the first of My keys, are surrender and obedience. As you gain experience in the complete use of these two keys, then you will be given more keys as you progress toward your final victory!)
Thanks you Lord, I praise thee, for granting me the use of these two keys of Your kingdom. Help me to use them wisely and completely with the boundaries of Your will.
—- Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24 NKJV
(Surrender and obedience are your keys to your victory, My child.)
—-“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels and then He will reward each according to his works.” Matthew 16:25-27 NKJV
(My child, your “work” is to completely surrender your will and keep up obedience to My will. As you give up your “will ” to Me, I will reward you with total and complete victory. So, stay focused on these two goals, “surrender and obedience” for there is your victory!)

Lord, so much has happened since I last wrote; we lost a dear friend, we lost a dear brother, and now we are caring for an elderly parent in our home. But praises be to you my dear Lord, for You are carrying us through it all!
Lord, I praise You for through all these stresses You have maintained me! You held me in Your arms of comfort. In the past during stressful times I would have turned to the comfort of food, but You Lord were my comfort through all of these events of the past several months.
