Lord, . . a one pound weight GAIN!!! How can this be??? I have followed what I thought was ‘Your’ eating plan for me! I am eating only three meals a day and what I thought was half portions. Lord, do You still love me even when I sin? Last night, at a Sunday School party I really overate! I turned completely away from the “eating plan” that You directed me to! But Lord, I enjoyed every bite so much that I just threw caution away and ate until I became bloated! I binged on sweet pickles and cinnamon bread of all things, but Lord, they were so good! Lord, do You still love me even when I sin?
(Yes My child, I love you like no other! I died for you while you were still immersed in your sin, remember?)
Yes Lord, I remember. Help me to turn away from the weight of this sin that so easily besets me!
(My child, I see you as finished and complete, standing glorious before Me without spot or wrinkle.)
— I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, . . . Isaiah 61: 10 NKJV

Lord Jesus, forgive my anger. Help me to have the attitude that please You. Lord, I want You to fill me, not the anger.
(Let go, My child, of what is in your hand and I will bless you. Let go of your self-desires and I will increase My Spirit within you.)
Lord, help me, guide me.

Thank you Lord, for Your grace, and Your love. Help me to please You! I am so sorry about my behavior.
— Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in sight of God our Savior. I Timothy 2: 1-3 NKJV
Lord, am I to pray for him and his co-workers?
(My child, praying is battle in warfare. Prayers are what moves mountains. Do you think he is more powerful than I?)
No Lord, he is not more powerful than You, it is that I have just given up!
Child, My warriors do not give up! Instead, My warriors rise up!)
Well Lord, show me, teach me how to pray for him because he irritates me with his words and I don’t agree with anything he says!
(My child, I will teach you. Pray first that My Will be done, that witnesses minister to him the truth and then pray for his heart to change.)
Alright Lord, may Your Will be done in this place, here on earth just as in heaven. Lord, send to him witnesses of Your glory and grant him a heart change. Lord, Your will be done in this situation. Amen

Lord, I want Your Holy Spirit to instruct me and I also want to “feed” on Your heavenly manna!
( Then eat of My Word, My child. If you eat of My Word then you will be “full” of My heavenly manna!)

Oh Lord, thank you! I didn’t know that Your Word was our “manna” today. The Israelites in the desert had Your manna, which was a sweet wafer like a bread. But today we have Your Word, which we should consider “sweet” but it seems that today no one wants to read Your Word. We are all on our computers or our cell phones. I am guilty myself of choosing to play on my toy of technology. Lord, I ask for forgiveness each time that I chose my toy over Your Word.
—– Direct my steps by Your Word. And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133 NKJV
——Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way. Establish Your Word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You. Psalm 119: 36-38 NKJV
Lord, fill me with the desire to eat from Your Word and not eat from the abundance of earthly pleasures in the kitchen, in the restaurants, or in the market. But rather Lord, let me be full of a desire for You and Your Word.
—-I have not departed from the commandments of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. Job 23:12 NKJV
(My child, if you will feed from My Word, My heavenly manna, your physical body will decrease and your spiritual body, your soul will increase. I will fill you with Myself and you will be full forevermore.)
Oh yes Lord, I desire to be “full” of You, of Your Holy Spirit, and of Your Word! Fill me with Yourself! I am Yours, do with me as You wish!
(Come here, My child. Sit with Me! Behold I come unto you with My Presence. Allow Me to satiate your soul!)

Birthday Cake, my favorite!
Thank you Lord that I didn’t put my face in the feeding trough yesterday. It would have been so easy, birthday cake was left here from the party and I could have easily eaten half of it! Thank you Lord for saving me from myself and my fleshly desires for more and more of cake!
Lord, I was so exhausted from working so hard to prepare for the family gathering, birthday celebration. I know from experience that when I am physically tired, it makes me so weak to temptation and then the temptation grows stronger. But You brought me through Lord! You were with me and helped me resist the temptation to become gluttonous. In the past I have used food to relax after a stressful day, and now Lord, I need You to help me relax and be my comfort, not the food.
—- And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. . . . For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV
[A couple of hours later. . .] Lord, I ended up taking a nap and that was exactly what I needed. Isn’t it interesting when what we really need is rest, the food calls us to eat and eat? I can’t help but wonder, could ‘Eve’ have just been really tired when she ate that forbidden fruit? It is so easy to give in to temptation when I am so extremely tired. Thank you Lord, for holding me in Your arms when I was so exhausted and keeping me out of the kitchen! The nap was exactly what I needed. Thank you!
(My child, I know exactly what you need when you need it. I am your provider, even of naps when that is what you need. Abundance of food will not satisfy the needs of your heart and soul. Instead, I will nourish your heart and your soul. Your body will also be healthier when you feed My word and My Presence.)

(My child, know this – I am with you when you work hard, when you rest, and especially in the midst of temptation. I know that sometimes it seems that the temptation is so very strong as it tries to convince you and pull you into its trap, but I AM stronger and I AM with you! Look to Me for your source of strength, your source of rest, and your source of comfort. For I AM the supply of ALL that you need.)

It is so easy for you to become distracted due to the modern tools of communication. But communication with Me is best. Lay aside these modern tools of communication to focus on listening to My voice, for My way and My direction is the best. I have My best ready for you!)

Lord, I bought the book, “Dairy of a Fat Housewife” because I have indeed fallen and I can’t get up!

Lord, I have had my face down in the feeding trough! I now come before You with the crumbs still on my face and my belly swollen to its fullest capacity. I have run to my sin eagerly and with only a sight hesitation. Previously, I made a vow to fast and eat only one meal a day for two weeks. Now, what have I actually done? I put my face down in the feeding trough, then when I get out of the trough I graze in the field of pleasure foods. Lord, we have talked about this so many times. I have confessed my sins over and over. I have begged for forgiveness, then I just run to consume even more and more of my sins. Lord, I truly feel that there is no hope for me, that maybe I should just give up and accept this fat, plumb woman with the fat plumb cheeks that I am!

Lord, I saw that girl, she is so skinny! She told us that she is now a size 6! Wow! The last time I saw her, a year ago, she was really pudgy. She had a gastric bypass.
Lord, I want a gastric bypass, but I do not want to go to a doctor for surgery. Lord, I want You, or rather I am asking You to perform a gastric bypass. Lord, would You be My doctor and perform a gastric bypass on me?
