SHE GOT KICKED OUT

The Old Chair

Lord, I just want to thank you for helping me kick that heavy woman out of my house. I couldn’t have done it without your help. I needed a lot of strength to get rid of her and You provided all that I needed.

This large woman liked to flirt with my hubby. She wanted to sit in his lap but wouldn’t because her heaviness would squash his legs and he couldn’t breathe. So she’d sit on the arm of his chair to flirt. One time she sat on the arm of his easy chair and she broke it. You could feel the broken board under the blue material.

Hubby repaired it and that lasted for a while. Then that large woman sat on the arm of his chair again and it broke a second time. Hubby tried to fix it again, (He’s so handy) but it was just never the same. From then on, that chair arm just sagged. She didn’t ever sit on it again. He complained about his broken chair. It embarrassed me.

So you see why I had to kick that heavy woman out. I didn’t want all my furniture to get broken. Hubby didn’t like the sagging broken arm on his easy chair. It was so embarrassing when company came and we had to explain about how the arm of the chair got broken by the heavy woman. I knew she just had to leave. That woman created too many problems.

Now it’s a year later and I have removed all evidence of that large woman in my house except for his broken chair. Since I had cleaned out all her big clothes, (got rid of all evidence of her big self) Hubby and I decided it was time to get rid of the chair that she broke too. We went to the chair store to get him another one.

Later,  when Hubby was trying out all the different chairs for comfort and size, I prayed. I asked You to lead us to the right one for Hubby and  to lead us to Your will for his chair. He had one picked out and what a price. Wow! I was wondering if we would have to get a second mortgage. But then Lord, You showed him the torn place in that chair. Thank you, he wouldn’t be happy with a new torn chair that cost so much. So he continued to try out more chairs.

Then Lord, You led us to the perfect chair for him with a lower price. It had no torn places. The sales lady showed us all the tricks that this chair could do. With this chair you could put your feet higher than your hips. You can lay down with this chair and it will stay down until you move it. I sat in the chair and it felt wonderful. I knew Hubby would like this one.

The New Chair

The color was different from what we expected. But when we got home with the chair, it turned out the color was perfect. We already had a few other things in the family room that matched the new chair. Thank you Lord for leading us to the perfect chair for my Hubby. Now there is no evidence of that heavy woman or the broken chair in my house. Thank you Lord.

My child, because you asked for My wisdom and My will I led you to the best choice. Anytime My children seek My will I will lead them to the best choice. Seek and ye shall find. Ask and ye shall receive.

I love you and I only want what is the best for you. If only all My children would seek My will, then I could bless them beyond their expectations. My will is to for My children to have the best.  If only they trusted Me completely, then I would lead them to the Promise land of freedom within their souls.

I am not an angry god that demands blind obedience and punishes without mercy. No, I am a merciful God that loves beyond all human capacity to comprehend.
