LOOK AT THEIR FACES

Lord, I’m so upset!  While at the store, I requested cash back because I have had no cash for three days now. Then I left the money at the store, now I have no money. What am I to do? I can’t go back to the store because  I don’t even remember what the cashier looked like. I really didn’t look at her because I was in such a hurry to get home.

(My child, depend on Me. Look unto Me. For I will meet all of your needs according to My riches in glory. . . .)

Philippians 4:19NKJV: And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(You, My child, now look at your loss of money because you did not look at her. You now only see your need, but did you see hers? My child, if you will slow down enough to look at people in their faces, you will see their needs. Pray for them. People are hurting everywhere. As you pray for them, they will become encouraged but they won’t know why. It is not important that they know why, only that they become encouraged. Spread the prayers, My child, there are so many hurting people. You have no concept at how many are suffering. Pray for everyone you see. The person standing next to you in line could be suffering deep emotional pain. The person sitting in the car next to you at the red light could be facing severe struggles in their life. My child, I am calling you to pray for everyone you come in contact with. Pray for My people.

Do you remember the girl with the black eye that checked you out of the grocery store the other day? You became frustrated because you had too many stops on the way home, but I had placed you at that particular grocery store just at that particular time, just to pray for that girl. Do you remember the woman at the retail store that was checking you out? She was in so much pain that tears were running down her face. You knew to pray for her.  After you got to the car and then went back in for what you forgot, you could see that her pain had ceased. Remember how you felt then?)

Yes Lord, I was amazed. I had prayed for her and now her pain had stopped! Wow! Prayer works!

(Yes, it does. I place My children in appointed places so that they may minister to others in need. But alas, when My children are so busy rushing to and fro, only focusing on their own needs, they don’t even stop to pray for the others that they come in contact with throughout their day.

Just like you didn’t look at the girl at the cash register, My children fail to see the needs of others. If all of My children went around praying for everyone they came in contact with, just think of all the blessings that would come. Blessings would come for those being prayed for, but also blessings would return to those who are praying. My child, life is not just getting up, going through your daily routines, coming home, cooking supper, washing clothes, watching TV, and then going to bed. No, My child, life is much more than that! Every person you come in contact with is not just a routine occurence but rather it is a divine appointment by Me. For I have arranged your life since you have given Me your will, therefore everyone you meet is an arrangement by Me. Pray for them, for they are a hurting people.

I John 3: 17 NKJV: But whoever has this world’ goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
