COMPLAINING SPREADS LIKE WILDFIRE! (*Note)

20131026-071706.jpg     Lord, everything about my job is changing! It seems as though management has lost their minds! Their new expectations seem so unachievable, unrealistic, impossible, and just plain crazy!  I am so overwhelmed by all this! Lord, I must admit to You that I have complained very loudly and constantly to my co-workers. I have also noticed that when I complain, another co-worker complains, then another, and the complaining spreads like wildfire until everyone is complaining! All of us end up overwhelmed and full of despair!

Lord, was this how the Israelites sounded in the desert? I know we are a murmuring, complaining bunch, but aren’t we entitled due to all the unrealistic demands from management? Lord, I don’t want to stay stuck in this job for 40 years!  It seems that the more we complain, the more confusion and anger there is! All of us have expressed feeling trapped!

(My child, about your job and your boss, know that I am your boss! Bring Me your paperwork and your complaints for I can carry out what you are unable to even comprehend. Know that as you please Me, you will please your boss as well. Yes, My child, it is true that as you and your co-workers complain you are stirring up and increasing the confusion, strife, and anger. My child, I want that you have peace and joy unspeakable; therefore, no more complaining! Your office is now filled with confusion instead of My peace.  If you will focus on praising Me, then you will become full of My sweet Presence. Your office will be a place of peace for all that enter in. The spirits of confusion, strife, and anger will not stay when you are praising Me. They can’t stand to hear My praises! You won’t even have to say a word to your co-workers, just keep an attitude of praise, then you will see what I do! )

Lord, I am grateful that You instructed me to eat only half of my meals because due to all this stress, I would have probably gained another 50 pounds otherwise. I did struggle about giving up half of my chicken. Finally, I decided to eat all of it because it was such a small piece. Forgive me Lord, if this was a wrong choice. Help me to immediately  follow Your will without question or hesitation for I now realize that food does have a stronghold on my heart. I feel so greedy over a small piece of chicken. Lord, help me to let go no matter how small I think the food is. I remember the widow that give two mites, all that she had, in the offering plate. It was the smallest offering of all, but You considered it the greatest offering because it was all she had. Lord, help me be willing to let go of the food in my hand no matter how small I think it is. Let the focus of my heart be to please You! Now I realize that a piece of chicken is not important, but rather a surrendered heart is! Lord, I want to please You!

(My child, you are learning to yield and I treasure the yielded hearts of My children. I do forgive you for even though you decided to eat all of it, you now realize that it was to feed a selfish heart. Know that you will be given another opportunity  to face this decision again. Be willing, My child, to let go of what is in your hand and see how I will richly increase your blessings. I intend for all My children to have My abundant blessings. You must let go of what is in your hand, for a closed hand is unable to receive. )

—— These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; . . . . .    But you, beloved, building yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourself in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.          Jude 16, 20 NKJV

—– Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.      Philippians 2:14 NKJV

—– Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do , do all to the glory of God.         1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV

*Note : This is “writing” from the past and I am retired now. But praise God, I have lost 44 pounds!
