Lord, forgive my overeating last night. Help me remember to always eat in submission to You. Now Lord, will You lead me to Your will for today?
First of all My child, I’m not here to punish you or beat you up. After all, you do a pretty good job of that yourself. In fact I’m here to set you free, completely free, specifically from all that holds you in bondage, whether it’s caused by yourself, your habits, your weaknesses, others, or their words. Just so you know, you aren’t responsible for their choices or their words that hurt you.
I’m here to fill you with Myself, My power, and My strength. Furthermore you’re going to go forth victorious, not because of who you are, but because of who I am.
I choose who I choose and I choose My children to go forth in My calling. For each one I call, My calling fits just as comfortable shoes and warm fuzzy socks.
When I lay My blanket of love over My children, it’s more than just warmth. It’s a covering of My love and My anointing. I have a mantle for each life, designed for each specific one. This mantle is designed specifically for each one and My assignment for them. With the mantle covering of My love and anointing, each one will go forth in My strength to accomplish My will for their lives.
Of course I don’t want My children beaten down in defeat. On the contrary I intend for My children to go forth in victory. Now rise up and go forth. Know I am with you throughout every step you take.
Above all Lord, help me learn, listen, follow, and obey You in all things. Henceforth, help me always seek Your advice about everything I do, say, and even think.

“Don’t let the serpent steal your testimony,” the speaker stated as she stood in front of listening ladies. She looked at each lady in the group and repeated, “Don’t let the serpent steal your testimony.”
. . . Lord, she doesn’t know me. So how did she know I was struggling with feelings of defeat. How did she know? I sense You’re smiling because You know how she knew.

Lord, I feel so rejected by my friends. What do You want from me?
Your love. 
Lord, I do love You. Thank You for loving me, but I feel so unlovable now. After all I just didn’t measure up to their standards and I can’t be what they think I should be. To change myself so I fit in their status mold, not mine, makes me feel so uneasy. After all, their mold doesn’t fit me. For instance, it feels like a tight squeezing shoe or a sock that falls down all day. I just didn’t fit in their group, but the rejection hurts.
Lord, I’m surrounded by abundant food. Can You help me?
Listen carefully to Me and eat what is good. Isaiah 55: 2

To you, the one struggling now, God wants your deliverance. He loves you very much. He knows your heart and sees the goodness therein.
Lord, last week I had a dream in which I saw the number 8747.
What can this mean? When I googled it, “The Dictionary of Bible Themes” revealed this number represents false gods. What? Did You send this dream to warn me of danger when I use food for comfort or when I use a credit card to supply what we have need of? Are credit cards false providers, thereby false gods who entrap?
Here’s 21 Victory Antibiotics to kill virus of Christmas goodies temptations. Use these as needed. You have my permission to share or print. Put them on your refrigerator, on the food pantry door, or even in the car if necessary.
There’s an abundance of food temptations this month due to our Christmas celebrations. How do you plan to win over these temptations?
Remember it’s not about the food, but the birth of Jesus Christ we celebrate. When did we get it so messed up? Was it our food addictions? Just thinking about all these goodies make my mouth water. Other people without food/weight issues make food part of their celebration too. So what do you think? If you have an answer, please let me know.

Victory is the defeat of an enemy or opponent. Victory occurs when we gain success in a struggle against some difficulty or some obstacle that is impeding our paths. It is the state of having triumphed. We can triumph in victory over these food temptations. With God’s power, we can win.

Suppose you stop eating in mid-bite because you realized the food item wasn’t a good choice, that’s victory. If you become full and stop eating even though there’s more left, that’s victory. When you’ve lost the desire for a previously loved food item, so you don’t eat it, that’s major shouting ‘Hallelujah’ victory. Which is more valuable to you, the thrill of victory or excess food? Surrender to Him, His Presence is the key to victory for He is your victory. Allow God to have total control of your food for He is victory. Remember the child’s song, “Trust and Obey.” Google the lyrics.

You’re more than a conqueror. Yes, you are. Every time you say “No” to excess food, you put a victory notch in your belt. That’s how temptation works for your victory. Choose to give yourself the gift of victory.
12. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17
13. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. John 4:34

Try this test for your food: Will eating this allow you to continue your victory walk with peace in your heart or will it bring you guilt? If it brings guilt, don’t eat it. Then rejoice and praise god for your victory.
20. “. . . “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6
Your victories cause Him to sing over you.
21. The Lord your god in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
Now you sing to Him praising Him for your victory. Side benefit, you can’t eat while you’re singing. At least I don’t think so. I know I can’t.
