The Truth Comes Out -Part Four

Posted on by

The truth comes out. Some ladies contacted me via social media and wanted to start a Bible study online. They said they were Christians. But they also wanted to include some passages from their book.

After three weeks of online interaction, they sent me a (pdf) copy of their book. That’s how I found out they were in a cult, by googling the author. Yep, sometimes the truth comes forth through Google. After discovering they were part of a cult, I became afraid. After all, the article told how some of their members killed a woman at a McDonalds.

Truth Continues- Part Five

Truth continues. After three weeks of online Bible study,  I discovered my new friends were in a cult and trying to convert me. Shudder. Then fear came. I hate fear, don’t you?

But after talking to God about it, I had a plan.

The Truth Comes Out – Part Three

The truth comes out and this is how it started:

These ladies contacted me via social media and wanted to use FaceTime for a Bible study group. They also included some additional passages in our study, It felt like they were trying to convert me. But they said they were Christians, Me too. So why do I feel like something is up?

Finally, after seeking God’s direction, I asked them, “To you, who is Jesus?” Followed by, “Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell?” These questions were from my “Share Jesus Without Fear” App. Here’s a link explaining how this program works : http://sharejesuswithoutfear.com/.

The Truth Comes Out- Part One

The truth comes out. And this is how it all started –

Last month, I was contacted by a lady through Twitter and she asked to connect to my Facebook as well.

She seemed so friendly and asked if we could study the Bible together. When I asked, she said she was a Christian. Responding to my silly comments, her laughter seemed so innocent.

*Free, Not Held in Bondage *

My children are to be free, not held in bondage to any one person or group, not even to their own self-inflicted bondage. I came to set My people free. Yes, free indeed. I died for your freedom from sins and theirs too.

Never Give Up

“Never give up,” he said. Does it sometimes seem as though everything is going wrong? Have you ever felt like giving up?

Never give up. Remember failure is not falling down. Failure is not getting up again. And I have decided I’m getting up again. How about you?

This is a picture of my grandfather, Gardener Davis. He died in 1951. The only thing I have from him is this picture given to me by my Mother. But the greatest treasure I have from him is his statement to my Mother, which she passed on to her children, “Never Give Up.”

CRAZY ALL MY LIFE

Posted on by

It’s been crazy all my life. What about yours? You won’t believe what happened?  Usually I weigh myself every morning, first thing, after I wake up. So this Sunday, after waking up around 3 am. I weighed myself and the scales went up two pounds. WHAT? How can that be? I don’t believe it. It can’t be, not after all that food I did not eat! No! Can’t be, It just can’t be!

You’re Not A Failure

Child, you’re not a failure. After all, none of My children are failures. No, not one.

But Lord, I’ve failed You many times. (Have you ever felt this way?)

Life Fasting -What’s That?

Posted on by

Life fasting – What’s that? A while back I read of someone going on a life-fast from sugar. To me, the dessert queen, that sounds  impossible. In fact if I decided to life-fast from sugar it’d just be setting me up for failure. After all, a wise man (woman) knows her (his) limitations.

So Lord, what do I do? How do I eat now?

My Child, haven’t I’ve told you over and over, “Look to Me, seek Me, listen and follow My instructions. Focus on My will for your food and your life too.
