OH, VICTORY IN JESUS!

Lord, so much has happened since I last wrote; we lost a dear friend, we lost a dear brother, and now we are caring for an elderly parent in our home. But praises be to you my dear Lord, for You are carrying us through it all!

Lord, I praise You for through all these stresses You have maintained me! You held me in Your arms of comfort. In the past during stressful times I would have turned to the comfort of food, but You Lord were my comfort through all of these events of the past several months. YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE! (Written on May 16,2013)

Lord, I bought the book, “Dairy of a Fat Housewife” because I have indeed fallen and I can’t get up!

(My child, I am here!)

Lord, I have had my face down in the feeding trough! I now come before You with the crumbs still on my face and my belly swollen to its fullest capacity. I have run to my sin eagerly and with only a sight hesitation. Previously, I made a vow to fast and eat only one meal a day for two weeks. Now, what have I actually done? I put my face down in the feeding trough, then when I get out of the trough I graze in the field of pleasure foods. Lord, we have talked about this so many times. I have confessed my sins over and over. I have begged for forgiveness, then I just run to consume even more and more of my sins. Lord, I truly feel that there is no hope for me, that maybe I should just give up and accept this fat, plumb woman with the fat plumb cheeks that I am!

GOD's GASTRIC BYPASS

Lord, I saw that girl, she is so skinny! She told us that she is now a size 6! Wow! The last time I saw her, a year ago, she was really pudgy. She had a gastric bypass.

Lord, I want a gastric bypass, but I do not want to go to a doctor for surgery. Lord, I want You, or rather I am asking You to perform a gastric bypass. Lord, would You be My doctor and perform a gastric bypass on me?

HERE I GO AGAIN- STARTING OVER AGAIN

“Lord, how wonderful it is! How thankful I am! Lord, I am bowing before You again. You Lord, have mercy for me yet again. For this, I offer praise unto You!”

At age 601/2, I am finally going to defeat this enemy of the extra weight that so easily besets me. Yep, the saddlebags and the bondage of overeating banished forever through the power of the Holy Spirit!

“Lord, I know You are my only hope of freedom! Diets don’t work, not for me! I either won’t or rather don’t stick to a diet or an exercise program. Lord, You are my only hope. I am coming before You, laying down the sacrifice of all my extra snacks and sweets on Your holy altar as my ‘sin’ offering.”

( “My child, I gave My life already as a sacrifice for your sins. Sacrifice is not required from you, My child, what I desire from you is your love and your obedience.”)

1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV: So Samuel said, “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.
