Just enjoy My Presence, Child. Our relationship comes first. You’ve heard, ‘Take care of Mama first.” I say unto you, ‘Take care of our relationship first, above all else. And let Me take care of all else.”
But Lord, there are so many needs of others. I feel guilty talking to You about my needs.
Yes Child, I know their needs. I hear your prayers for them. And I know your heart for them, but our relationship has to be fed first.
Yes Sir.
Just as the story you heard about gas masks on planes. Mamas should put their mask on first, then the child. For how can you take care of others unless you take care of yourself first?
How can you serve others if you fall? You need My Spirit to fill you so you can reach out to others.
Lord, I want to serve You first and above all else.
Child, you are. So relax. Quit stressing. Just enjoy My Presence. Yes I see you have many concerns for others, thoughts, and heart cries. But know this, I am not a performance based God.
In fact, I am a grace given God, who loves you and understands you.
I see your striving. All I desire is your love for Me, not your performance. So just enjoy My Presence. It’s a lie that you must perform well in order to please Me.
The truth is I desire your love for Me.
I want you to talk to Me about your life and the lives of those who concern you. This pleases Me. Overall, I want your love, not your perfect performance. So quit striving for perfection. Just enjoy My Presence. That’s My desire.
Remember Mary and Martha. Mary sat at My feet listening and learning. So she had the best. In fact being in My Presence is the highest form of worship, not a “to do” list of works for Me.
Overall, I desire your company and your fellowship with Me. Your relationship with Me should be first and foremost, above all else.
Yes Sir. Lord, I want more of You.
And Child, you shall have it.
