Glory to God, Chains are Falling

Lord, I want to bring You glory, not for me, but for You. Not only show me how, but also could You help me so that I could bring You honor and praise. , I want to ask You Also Lord, I want to ask if You would forgive me for returning back to my old ways of overeating consequently damaging the testimony of Your delivering power in my life.

And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48

Child, this verse applies to you as well. Not only am I watching over you, but also I know of your weaknesses. So now move forth toward your victory. No longer hold your head down, but look up instead for your victory is coming. In fact I’m giving you victory. Look up and be excited about life for it’s a wonderful gift I’ve given to you. Instead of extra food, I want you filled with excitement, be filled with optimism, and be filled with My Spirit. Rejoice My Child for victory is yours.

Thank you Lord for Your mercy. I can hear those chains of food bondage falling off now.

Fast From Social Media? Please Lord, No!

Lord, help me to fast today, especially tonight after supper. That’s when the Gluttony Monster comes. I want to kill him!

Then Child, don’t feed him. I’ll tell what else you need to fast from, . . . your social media/cell phone. Fast from your cell phone tonight after your supper.

What? . . . Oh Lord, I’m not sure I can do that.

Your mind turns off when you are zoning out. Therefore when the Gluttony Monster shows up you’re already zoned out. That’s why you’re weak, your mind is zoned out. You’re allowing social media and the Gluttony Monster to control you. How can I renew your mind when you are zoned out?

It’s the same when you watch television with all those food commercials. The power of mind suggestion is a powerful thing. Satan knows how to use it to keep My children defeated. But no more, for I have defeated him with My Holy Spirit. As My children yield their wills to My guidance, I can lead them to victory.

But Lord, what will I do with myself at night after supper?

Well, let’s see. . . Maybe you could talk to your husband. Or maybe, you could go outside for a walk. Which by the way, you’ve become weak My child, physically, mentally, and yes, even spiritually.

Lord . . .

Yes My child. . . You could also feed yourself My Word. That’s really what you need to become stronger, more of Me.

If you’re sitting in the same room as your husband while he’s watching television, get your notebook and write notes to Me. You can talk with Me even while in a room with others and the television blaring. Do you think you can only talk to Me during your morning devotional time?

Not so, I want to be involved, rather included, in all areas of your life. Don’t shut Me out of your evenings just because the house is not quiet. Child, that’s one reason the Gluttony Monster can enter in. Because you shut Me out when you zoned out on that cell phone of yours. To repeat Myself, I want to be included in every area of your life, not just your morning quiet time.

Now I’m calling you to a fast. Yes, I want you to fast the time period after your evening meal. Give that time to Me. Whether the house is quiet or not, I want that time period of your day. You can include your family, but I want you to be aware of My Presence. So yes, I’m calling you to a fast. No food and no social media after your evening meal for 40 days.

But Lord, I usually eat my evening meal around 5 P.M. And that’s at least four hours before bedtime. What will I do with myself?

You’ll figure it out. It will end up being your favorite time of the day. Your evenings will become full of peace instead of food. How would you like that?

By the way, others have said that reading Psalms brought them peace. Why don’t you try that?

Or you could complete a craft project or write on your computer. Then you would be creating, My child. You’d be copying Me by creating something out of nothing. Humans were created in My image. That’s why it makes them happy to be creative, for they are creating just as I created. It is part of My nature, to create. Since humans are created in My image, it is part of their nature too.

You also could go for an evening walk and enjoy the nature around you. Nature is My creation, you know. Child, there is so much joy for you to experience. That’s why I want you to fast after your evening meal, both from food and social media. Not to take away your pleasure, but instead to fill you with My pleasure and find joy in My creation, both in your creation and in My creation.

Now what do you say? Are you willing to fast after your evening meals for 40 days, both from social media and unnecessary food?

Okay Lord, I’ll try.

Try nothing, you will. If you truly want the joy I’ll bring, then you will.

Yes Sir. I will. Thank you for talking to me.

Child, you were wondering how to break this bondage of gluttony. So, here’s another key to your freedom, fasting after your evening meal. Do this and you will see what I will do. Keep a record of the joys I bring to you each day. Your joy will increase and your victory will come back.

Another thing My child, lately you’ve been bringing that social media into our morning meeting place. Don’t do that anymore. I want your eyes on Me, not your social media.

Child, through this next 40 days of fasting, you’re going to gain strength, physically, mentally, and spiritually too. Just watch and see what I will do. Now I’m going to send Victory as your evening companion. Instead of the Gluttony Monster, you will have Victory coming in. All My children are winners, living in victory. Victory is yours to be had too. I’m sending Victory now to be your companion. Look for it.

Lord, thank you for talking to me. Thank you.

Child, you could also spend your evening time in intercession for those you are concerned about, those you love and those on your prayer list. Then you could watch and see what I do in their lives as well.

Now Give Me Your Broken Heart For Love

Now give Me your broken heart so I may fill it with My love. Come to Me, My child. Allow Me to hold you and heal your broken heart. Yes, you can cry. Especially cry out your pain. Release it to Me and I will heal your brokenness.

But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. Psalm 13:5

Lord , I can’t even believe what I did last night. I’m so ashamed. Even my friend questioned my lack of self-control. You know I have no self-control. In fact, I’ve never had self- control. So I guess I’m just an embarrassment to You. Lord, I really don’t want to be an embarrassment to You

Child, you aren’t an embarrassment. And you won’t be, for I have you covered by My Blood.

Child, I’m here to wash your feet.

Oh Lord, You know how dirty I am.

Child, I love you in spite of your dirty feet, dirty hands, and even your dirty face. What I long for is your heart. I want your heart. I want your desire to be more for Me rather than your sin pleasures. If only you could know the peace I could give you. After all, there is pleasure in a clean heart. Come, allow Me to cleanse your heart. Then once your heart is clean, your feet, your hands, ,and your face will follow.

Give Me your heart. Once you fall in love with Me, your eyes will not be so enticed with the pleasures of sin. You’ll only have eyes for Me. Love Me, My child, for only I can cleanse your heart of all your hurts, pains, and disappointments.Only I can heal what is broken. Only I can restore what has been stolen by the enemy.

Come to Me. Allow Me to hold you and heal your broken heart. Yes, you can cry now. Cry out your pain. Release it to Me and I will heal your brokenness.

You’ve been looking for love in others. Overall, they will always disappoint you. Look to Me for perfect love for I will never disappoint you. Seek My love and you will find the one true love you have always wanted. Given that humans are incapable of the love you desire. Only I can fill that need. Come to Me.

Lord, thank you for these words of comfort and love for me. They are indeed special to my heart. I’m so sorry I’ve embarrassed You. I do so want to make You proud. Please forgive me.

Lord, I don’t want to be an example of backsliding. Instead I want to be an example of Your victory.

My child, indeed you already are one of My victories. I love you.

Edge of Victory

Lord, my temptations have not brought me the joy of victory. No, instead they’ve brought failure and defeat. I’ve failed all the tests and have become completely entangled again in bingeing and eating until I’m sick, bloated, and gaining weight. Now I’m standing here before You in guilt and shame at the edge of failure.

No . . . My Child, you’re not standing at the edge of failure. You’re now standing at the edge of victory. Call on My Name – Jesus- for I am your victory.

Lord, I thought I was at victory before, but here I am now back at binge land. At this moment I’m the heaviest I’ve been since 2014. My face has been in the feeding trough, the slop bucket. In the book, “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young, (pg. 321) You stated that You weren’t repelled by our weaknesses. No, instead You said Your power was attracted to our weakness. How can You be attracted by my gluttony?

Yes My child, I am drawn to your weakness for I long to help those I love. I always want to help you succeed just as you always want to help those you love. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16 NKJV

My Child, I’ve come to offer you mercy, grace, and help you in your need of deliverance. Now I want to see you free of all this that has you entangled in bondage.

Lord, I feel nothing.

My child, you don’t have to feel Me to know I am with you.

Lord, I’m miserable now.

My child, I know this for I designed it that way. At the time you’re in sin, it seems enjoyable, but eventually sin brings forth great misery. Without the misery within sin, you wouldn’t cry out to Me.

Lord, I’m at another bottom, a sinkhole of misery. I feel as though I’m sinking in a food vat, a greasy food vat. Lord, I want what we once had before. I want to return to my joy within Your Presence. Can I come back to You?

Child, come here.

Lord, I don’t know what to do now.

Come here, I will lead you.

Lord, I want more of You.

Then My child, let go. Let go of what is in your hand because you can’t receive unless you let go.

Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

Lord, would You cleanse me, wash me, and deliver me again from my own sin of destruction. Overall I feel doomed to keep repeating this sin of gluttony.

My child, in fact you aren’t doomed for I’ve already set you free. As a matter of fact it was My Blood that paid the price required for your freedom.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

* Note: The Lord is helping me. Yes I made a lot of wrong choices, but praising God for His love, mercy and forgiveness. I’ve lost 4 pounds since writing this post. I don’t understand how He could be so patient with me.

I remember back in 2014, a potential publisher told me, “If we publish your book, you can never gain your weight back. It would be an embarrassment to our company.”

Someone once told me that angels are watching us and cheering us on. It’s occurred to me that I must follow God’s will especially with my eating. After all, when I overeat am I embarrassing God in front of His angels?

I’m so grateful He is giving me another chance to eat with Him again. Thank you Lord for Your love and mercy.

He’s patient with you too. He is full of love and mercy for you too, no matter what your past choices were. Go to Him and tell Him all about your issues. I promise He’ll listen. If He listens to me, He will listen to you. He loves you ever so greatly.

Change Is Headed Your Way. Can You See It Now?

Change is headed your way. Can you see it coming? Look for it.

(Several weeks ago when the Lord first spoke these words to my heart, they gave me hope especially considering the horrific events of these past few months: hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes. And now this week a mass shooting of innocents. We all need hope that only He can give. Find a quiet spot, let Him speak to your heart because if you’re like me, you could use some inner peace right now. First, quiet your inner thoughts, then listen for His voice to calm your stress. Allow Him to touch you and fill you with His overwhelming love.)

More of His words to my heart:

My child, I enjoy creating sudden changes in order to bring hope and joy into each life. Do you remember the words of your earthly Dad, “It’s amazing how quickly things can change?” Also, “Things can turn around for good just as quickly as they can for bad.” Do you remember these words spoke by your husband? Yes Lord, I do. Dad was talking about how gloomy the sky looked, but then after a few minutes the sky was blue, with the sun shining and clouds floating by. My husband said these words after several hours of figuring our finances. He was talking about our debt.

My child, I’m in the “changing” business. In fact I specialize in turning people from the mindset of defeat to expecting victory, from discouragement to hopefulness, from debt to prosperity, and from lack to the fullness of My blessings. Not to mention how I can change relationships from estranged to restored, from broken to healed and from cursed to blessed. Yes, I’m in the changing business. It brings Me pleasure to turn defeat and depression into victory and hope. I turn abandonment into completely restored. My death on the cross restored love to those destined for eternal abandonment to adoption and unconditional acceptance into My family. The Father loves each one, no matter the human flaws. My death brought victory to all those broken without hope. Lord, what about those sick and suffering?

My child, I give victory to all those who come to Me. Overall, they will have victory over circumstance and victory over death. While I don’t erase struggles, I do indeed grant victory over struggles. Yes My child, in life you will have struggles and suffering, but because of what I suffered you can have victory. I paid the price for victory for all, especially those struggling and suffering now. They will all have victory. As they come to Me I’ll give them the victory I bought with the price of My blood.

My child, it’s My pleasure to talk with My children.

Lord, thank you for my weight loss and teaching me how to eat in submission Yes, I know I’ve failed You so many times, but You never gave up on me. Thank you Lord for Your mercy. You said don’t give up, but I’m overwhelmed. Now I have more issues I need Your help with, credit card issues.

Here’s 21 Victory Antibiotics to kill virus of Christmas goodies temptations. Use these as needed. You have my permission to share or print. Put them on your refrigerator, on the food pantry door, or even in the car if necessary.

There’s an abundance of food temptations this month due to our Christmas celebrations. How do you plan to win over these temptations?

Remember it’s not about the food, but the birth of Jesus Christ we celebrate. When did we get it so messed up? Was it our food addictions? Just thinking about all these goodies make my mouth water. Other people without food/weight issues make food part of their celebration too. So what do you think? If you have an answer, please let me know.

Victory Antibiotics:

1. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

2. For everyone born of god is victorious and overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world- our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 1 John 5:4 AMP

Victory is the defeat of an enemy or opponent. Victory occurs when we gain success in a struggle against some difficulty or some obstacle that is impeding our paths. It is the state of having triumphed. We can triumph in victory over these food temptations. With God’s power, we can win.

5. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23

6. . . . If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

7. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32:8

8. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. . . . But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:1, 6

Suppose you stop eating in mid-bite because you realized the food item wasn’t a good choice, that’s victory. If you become full and stop eating even though there’s more left, that’s victory. When you’ve lost the desire for a previously loved food item, so you don’t eat it, that’s major shouting ‘Hallelujah’ victory. Which is more valuable to you, the thrill of victory or excess food? Victory Blessings

9. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6

10. You will show me the path of life; in Your Presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

Surrender to Him, His Presence is the key to victory for He is your victory. Allow God to have total control of your food for He is victory. Remember the child’s song, “Trust and Obey.” Google the lyrics.

You’re more than a conqueror. Yes, you are. Every time you say “No” to excess food, you put a victory notch in your belt. That’s how temptation works for your victory. Choose to give yourself the gift of victory.

12. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17

13. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. John 4:34

14. He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30

15. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20

16. But the Helper, the Holy spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you in all things and bring to your remembrance all things I said to you. John 14:26

17. And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. Romans 4:21

18. For with God nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37

19. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Try this test for your food: Will eating this allow you to continue your victory walk with peace in your heart or will it bring you guilt? If it brings guilt, don’t eat it. Then rejoice and praise god for your victory.

20. “. . . “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

Your victories cause Him to sing over you.

21. The Lord your god in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Now you sing to Him praising Him for your victory. Side benefit, you can’t eat while you’re singing. At least I don’t think so. I know I can’t.

Lord, right now I feel hopeless. I read that You fight for Your children. Do you ever fight for me?

Yes My child, I am fighting for you. My plans are for your victory. I aim for you to be victorious. Today will be a day of victory for you.
