The Party’s Over. What Now?

Posted on by

The party’s over. Sadly, all Christmas decorations are put back in the attic. Grandparent Camp is over. (It was such fun!) All family gatherings are over? What now? Lord, what is Your Word for us this coming year? What’s Your will for 2019?

December was such a grand party, all month long. First, two Christmas concerts, then we had several family gatherings, along with lots of food and gift exchanges. Then the highlight of all events, the biggest party of all was Grandparent Camp.  All the granddaughters stayed with me for a week long slumber party. May I say, LOVED IT!

Finally the December holidays ended with my grandest wish granted and arranged by God. It actually happened on January 5. But on that day both my sons and daughters of the heart, along with the grandchildren all came over for a meal all together at my table. Awesome. Amazing. Hubby said, “You got what you wished for, all the family together at your table.” Thank you Lord for my Christmas miracle. But now the party’s over.

Ready for Christmas. Let the celebration begin!

But now Lord, it’s a new year. Now it’s time for new beginnings and goals. Lord, what’s Your will for us this year, 2019?

The party’s over. What now?

Child, there are many surprises coming, just like your family being together for a meal was a surprise for you. This year will have much life, some death, restoration, family, love, hate, answers to prayers, more prayers, success, victories, and setbacks. But there’ll never be failures for all of Mine have success in My victory no matter what event in their lives.

Lord, what about me? What is my work for You? What would You have me to do for You?

Love them, Child, love all of them. Serve both Me and others. Trust Me through it all. Oh, and pray for them all. Pray, praise, love, serve, and trust. This year you will not coast through on auto-drive. Instead, you will live with a purpose, a purpose driven life. I AM your purpose.

— CHEW ON THIS —

~ ‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD,”plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.’

‘I will be found by you,’ says the LORD, ‘and I will restore . . .Jeremiah 29:11-14 AMP

To begin with, I’d like to recommend this book written by me (yes, me and God) during my early morning talks with God concerning my weight/food issues. A lot of my friends highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, one friend has read it eight times. I think? She tells me, “I’ve started reading it over again.

Then I’d like to share with you some bracelets and dog tags necklaces exactly like the ones I ordered from Amazon for my grandchildren. Of course, they loved them.
