Day 1- Lord, I think I over ate at supper. I know I did. How will my reach my weight loss goal if I keep this up? I wanted to eat everything. It was hard not to. I was hungry and could have inhaled it. But extra food won’t help me with losing weight. And I know I need to drink more water, but that’s hard for me too.
My child, I will help you. Last night, you looked at the food and your mouth watered. When was the last time you got excited over My Presence? Your focus was on the food. If you keep your focus on Me, I will hold your hand and destroy the power food has over you.
Yes Sir, I’m sorry I got my eyes off You and on the food. Help me to keep my eyes on You.
You are learning, My child, how to follow Me. It’s a process just like with losing weight. I understand your weaknesses. When you’re weak, I am strong. I will direct you and crown your efforts with success.
Lord, thank you for helping me lose this weight. My success comes from You.

5. Losing over 90 pounds with God’s weight loss counseling.
Food for Day 1: (Note: Now on Day 29) Breakfast: 1/2 biscuit with grape jelly, & 1/2 apple with 2 T. peanut butter. Lunch: 1/2 pork chop, 2 T. peas, grilled squash with onions, salad with dressing & croutons, 1/4 pear with 1 T shredded cheese. Supper: 5 fried oysters, 1 shrimp, 1/2 fish, 1/2 serving cheese grits, 1/2 serving broccoli.
