Talking To My Weight Loss Counselor – God

Help me listen more to You, Lord. Help me listen more to what You say about me versus what others say. But especially, help me listen more to You versus what I say about myself, words of self-criticism, self- condemnation, and words of “should’ve done this” or “should’ve not done that.”

Help me focus on today and Your will for this day. Help me surrender my will to You in all things. Lord, help me be aware of Your Presence with me every moment of every day, not just during my so-called “quiet times” with You. Even when I’m in the midst of people and crowded situations, let me be aware of You and have a quiet spirit before You.

Lord, when I feel like I’m hanging on the edge of life, let me be aware of Your Presence holding me in place.

Fill all of us with Your Presence. That’s what we all need, just more of You. We need Your Presence with us guiding us with every step we take and guiding us when to speak, when to be silent, and when to listen, especially listen to You as You guide us along our way.

Child, I am with you even when you are not aware of My Presence. Know that I am with you always.

Remember when you were standing among the giant rock walls and looked at these mighty boulders. Remember how strong you felt My Presence there among those giant mountain size boulders. When you looked at their greatness, you said, “Lord, I worship You.”

Use this method also when you’re standing in the midst of the mighty boulders and mountains of your life. As you look at the situations of hard places say, “Lord, I worship You.” Then you’ll be filled with My Presence and My peace will come to your mind, heart, and soul.

Overall, this is what most of mankind desires the most- peace within their minds, hearts, and souls. If they would seek My Presence, then they would be filled with My peace. 

Thank you Sir. When I’m in the midst of hardship, help me to remember Your words. Also when I am in the midst of joy, help me to remember Your words for I want Your Presence with me wherever I am, at all times.

Child, I am with you at all times. Just call My Name, “Jesus.” Or say, “Lord, I worship You”  just like you did before. Then you’re guaranteed My Presence, for when you seek Me, you will find Me.
