Talking To My Weight Loss Counselor – God

Don’t give up My child, for I am with you. I see your discouragement, but I say to you, ‘Don’t give up and don’t quit. Go forth in the victory I have already prepared for you.”

Lord, thank you for my weight loss and teaching me how to eat in submission  Yes, I know I’ve failed You so many times, but You never gave up on me. Thank you Lord for Your mercy. You said don’t give up, but I’m overwhelmed. Now I have more issues I need Your help with, credit card issues.

Don’t give up and don’t quit. My child, you’ve been in a dark hole of confusion. You’ve tried to follow too many self-inflicted, self-determined rules. The Pharisees also tried to follow many rules and failed miserably. More rules aren’t the answer, I am your answer. ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you. And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the day of salvation.’

Your first mistake was to listen to others without waiting for My guidance. Yes, you did pray and ask for My will, but you didn’t wait for clear direction. You just jump in and followed your desires instead of seeking My will. Your second mistake was using a piece of plastic to supply what you have need of.

Yes, I’m going to help you overcome this overwhelming weight of excessive credit card debt. But it’s going to take your full dependence on Me, complete obedience to My instructions,  self-discipline, and time. Oh, and you will learn how to budget both your time and your money.  

Don’t give up and don’t quit for I delight in bringing victory where there seems to be no victory in sight. My child, you look for victory in numbers-  numbers on the scales, number of subscribers, or numbers in finance. What I consider victory is a heart yielded to Me. I look at the condition of your heart to determine success, therefore My victory and your victory.

Is your heart full of love for Me? Do you seek My companionship,  My advice, My wisdom, or even My guidance? Don’t you yet know My plans for you are the best? You do have ‘fame and fortune’ with Me. So why do you seek other sources for your fulfillment? Know I am with you and that’s all you need for success.

What the world sees (and you too) as success, I do not. A successful life is a life of submission in love with Me and the only debt you should owe is a debt of love for Me. I don’t want your submission because you think you owe Me. that would make you a forced servant.  I want your submission because you choose to love Me. Submission is your choice and I’ll never force it. Your love Is highly treasured when you choose to give it freely. Your husband desires your love freely given too. I’m using him to teach you valuable lessons. Appreciate him more.

Remember when I told you it was through your surrender and submission to Me that your victory over food addiction would come. How many times have I told you, “Don’t look at what you see, instead look at Me?'” My child, you got your eyes off of Me and on rewards according to the world’s standards. Know My rewards are limitless and priceless to you for I paid the highest price for your victory. Now look to Me, follow My way, the way I have already prepared for you, your victory. Don’t give up and don’t quit. Don’t look at what you see, instead look at Me. Keep your eyes on Me.
