Talking To My Weight Loss Counselor – God

Lord, all of a sudden, I have all these clothes that are hanging loose and baggy. My pants are baggy, my jackets are hanging off, and my blouses are too big. It has been years since my clothes were too big. Previously I had only one or two blouses that fit well enough to cover my overweight body and I only had one pair of jeans that I could still button. The material of my  last bathing suit was so stretched last year that it had places that were beginning to run.   Lord, I am so excited  recycling like this. I plan to  give away these big clothes, 42 pieces in all, to bless someone else. Now I can buy new slim fitting clothes that will show off our success, Yours and mine.  I could have never achieved this victory without You. Thank you Lord, for not giving up on me. Even when I gave up on myself, You were still there waiting to encourage me to start over again. You believed in me and had my victory in Your hands all along. Thank you Lord. “My child, I always knew you could have victory for you are covered by My blood. My blood always brings victory. Victory is Mine, therefore victory belongs to those that are Mine. For I have plans for all that are Mine. plans not to harm, but for a hope and a future. Rejoice for this gift of victory I give to you.” Lord, it has just occurred to me that You are my Savior, even from myself.
