Lifestyle Change

Lord, is this way of eating to be a lifestyle change? Will I have to eat this way for all my life?

So I can never eat all I want. Will I always have to consider what’s before me and choose wisely? In fact, am I to seek Your wisdom and guidance over everything I put in my mouth, in my mind, and in my spirit too?

So whatever I eat, watch, read, or listen to, I am to consider my choices and then seek Your wisdom over it all. Overall, I am to live a completely yielded life in complete surrender of all my selfishness to Your guidance and wisdom.

Child, I am teaching you all throughout this process of your life. I will lead you as you seek My guidance. And yes, you will be making a lifestyle change. From now on, you are to seek My will in all things, with every thought, word, or action.

Lord, I need You to guide me for every little detail of my life and all my choices.

Child, I want you to focus on Me and the needs of those around you. Listen to them as they speak. You will learn much. Also I want you to learn from Me. I desire to teach you to listen to Me and follow My guidance without doubt or hesitation. 

I want you to be a “follower” of Me, not of others, but Me. So yes, you could say this will be a lifestyle change for you. 

Do this for yourself and for those I place in your life. I have a purpose for you and it’s not to be constantly seeking the voice of others. It is to be seeking My voice and following My will.Seek His answers

Listen to Me. Follow My guidance and obey My will without doubt or hesitation. This is the lifestyle change I desire for you. 

So learn to listen as I speak and learn to follow as I lead. The key to your victory is surrendering your will to My will. 

Okay Lord, teach me how.

Child, I’m in the process of teaching you now.

WHAT MAKES ME OVEREAT?

What makes me overeat?

What makes me overeat? Will I ever lose weight and gain victory?

Lord, what makes me overeat?

Child, it’s your spirit that’s hungry. But you’ve been feeding yourself. The real issue is that you hunger for My Presence, but you’re going to food instead of Me.

So Lord, what am I to do? How can I defeat these cravings that drive me crazy? What makes me overeat like I do?

Also I feel ashamed of talking to You about my food when there’s so much suffering and heartache in the world. But what am I to do?

Child, go back to the original plan I gave you. Back then during your first 40 days of eating according to My instructions, you were very careful to eat half portions.

Know that it’s not half your food I desire, it’s your submissive heart before Me I desire. As long as you’re holding on to food in your hand, you can’t receive your victory that I’m holding in My hand.

Why you ask? I’ll tell you why. Back then you believed. Now you expect defeat and failure.

Back then when I first told you what to do, your thought was, “I can do this.” Now your thought is “I can’t do this.” That’s your main issue, your belief.

If you think you can’t, you’re right. You can’t.

But you forget, “I can.”

But Lord, are you going to take the food out of my hand?

No, I’m going to take the desire out of your heart.

I don’t see that happening.

Don’t sass Me. Trust Me instead. As it is said, “You’re on thin ice.”

Yes Sir. But . . . it’s just I don’t know what to do.

Do exactly as I’ve instructed you. As you follow and obey My instructions, then you will see victory.

But Lord, what makes me overeat like this? I can’t control myself. Why?

Overall it’s your heart that’s the problem. You love food pleasure more than Me.

Oh Lord, I’m so sorry. How can I change?

Child, you can’t. But I can. It’s time for you to have heart surgery- a circumcised  heart before Me. As you submit yourself to Me, I will cut away portions of food-love from your heart.

But you must come to Me daily (sometimes by the minute) for your heart circumcise surgery. As you come to Me, I will remove the part of your heart that loves food. And I will fill your heart with love for Me and others too.

Carry a small notebook with you. When you want to eat, write prayers to Me and for others. So you’ll replace food pleasure with intercession for others. This will fulfill two needs, the needs of others for prayer and the need of you to resist temptation for food pleasure.

My original plan for fasting was to change hearts and replace food consumption with God interaction.

So you’ll replace food consumption with intercession for others. This is a good plan, for it will fulfill two needs, the needs of others and your need to resist temptation.

Instead of your time being used eating, you will now be using time for intercession. This is a good plan.

Also be careful about your portions. That’s a visual of your submission heart, not a greedy heart wanting it all. It’s your submissive heart I desire. It’s your love I desire most of all. I’m not a controlling God that demands obedience. No, I am a God that longs for your love above all else.

It’s the love of food that destroys, robs you of your victory

It will be My love that grants you victory.

Feed On This

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalms 37:23‭-‬24 NKJV

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin (food compulsion) that leads to death. (Guilt, weight gain) Romans 8:2 NLT

Created For Freedom

Turnaround victory

Child, you were created for freedom. As you yield yourself to Me, I’ll set you free. Then I’ll fill you with power to say “No” to unnecessary and trigger foods as you yield yourself to Me.

In fact, I’ll grant you the power to say “No” to all temptations. I plan on making you strong. Not defeated, but strong. Moreover I will grant you victory in all areas of your life.

So let go of what you have and come to Me empty-handed. Then I can I will fill your heart, mind, and soul with Myself.

Celebrate National Food Day

Oh Lord, that’s what I want. That’s what I really need, more of You.

Lord, settle my mind, and my spirit. Create in me, a new heart and a steadfast spirit. Holy Spirit, lead me to Your will.

Child, as you seek My will, I’ll lead you. But you must seek, trust, and obey as I lead. When you turn your own way, I stop leading for I will not force anyone to choose My way. It must be your choice, your free will, that chooses to follow Me.

So let go of what is in your hand, your abundant food, your pleasure food, and your night-time eating. Satan wants you in bondage, entrapped in defeat. But you were created you for freedom.

Let go of your plans, your dreams, and your desires. For I have more for you. And I want to give you more beyond your dreams, plans, or desires.

What I have for you is beyond your imagination. I want to give you more, but your hands are already too full of what you are holding on to.

I’ve come to give you an abundant life full of victory.

Lord, my sins are piled so high that I can’t see my way out. I’ve lost my courage, my confidence and my assurance.

But You, Lord God, are Almighty. Could you, would you reach down and pull me out of this mudhole I dug for myself?

Child, I love you. And yes, I will lift you up to victory, the one I have planned for you. Quit looking back and beating yourself up for your battles lost.

Instead, look up to Me, for I am holding your victory.

Thank you Lord. Your mercy endures forever.

VICTORY IN JESUS

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. . . Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, Psalms 51 :10-11 NKJV

“If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin]. John 8:32-32 AMP

What Would You Choose?

What would you choose?

What would you choose?

Child, what would you choose? What if you were called to give up your pleasure food in exchange for the pleasure of My glory?

Oh Lord, I want to choose You. But I am weak.

If you’re full of My Presence, then you’re strong. For I AM all powerful. And I can pull You out of this miry mud of self-indulgence.

Don’t you know that if you have My Presence, you have all you need?

What would you choose?

My children need to witness victory in the lives of those who identify with Me. My children need to see victory, not defeat.

People can lose weight with a strict diet. But you know it’s the minds and the hearts that needs changing. The desire for pleasure foods needs to be replaced with a desire for My Presence.

Habits need changing. You have the habit of relaxing after your evening meal with your pleasure food. So why are you seeking pleasure for that which does not satisfy?

Don’t you know yet that true satisfaction and peace beyond comprehension can only be found in My Presence? So what would you choose?

Yes Lord, I want Your Presence and the fullness of Your Holy Spirit.

Then come to Me, My Child. Come into My Presence. Allow Me to bless you with My Holy Spirit. I’m calling you forth to a higher walk, a higher place of victory.

Now come forth into My Presence and allow Me to fill You with Myself.

Yes Lord, here I am. Take my struggles, my defeat, my pride, my worry, and all my concerns. Take My heart and mind, including my thoughts.

Child, I don’t take anything from you. Not anything. You have to give them to me. Satan steals and takes. But I only receive as you give to Me. I never take.

Okay Lord. Then I give you my heart, my mind, my will, and my pride. I also give You all my failures, mess-ups, defeats, and shame. Lord, I’m a mess.

So what would you choose?

What would you choose?

But I give myself to thee.

Child, I will change you into what I designed you to be, My victorious child, full of My glory, My Presence, and My Holy Spirit.

The oil of Gilead will anoint your eyes so you see the truth versus the lies of Satan. You will know the truth. Therefore the truth will set you free to live a life of victory.

Satan has enjoyed beating you down. But now I’ll lift you up, clean you off, heal your wounds, and fill you with the nourishment of My Holy Spirit.

Then you can go forth as My servant spreading forth My joy and love to others.

First you’ll begin with those you love the most. Then you’ll spread My love and joy to the others I place in your life.

It will not be a chore to you. But rather, you’ll be filled with excitement and the thrill of victory. Then you will spread victory to others as well.

So what would you choose?

Child, in My Presence you will have peace as never before. Come to Me all throughout your day, evening morning, and noon.

Then watch what I do in your life and the lives of those you influence.

So what would you choose?

Performance-Based Love

Performance-based love

PERFORMANCE-BASED LOVE

Child, you have performance-based love for yourself. When you accomplish much you feel good about yourself . But when you don’t perform as you think you should, you criticize yourself. You judge yourself as a failure.

Open your eyes to see yourself as I see you. You’ve heard it said, “Love your neighbor as yourself”. My child, I say, “Be kind to yourself”.

Quit beating yourself up for your so-called failures. You’re not a failure. You are Mine. I see you as complete in My Presence. I cover you with Myself. Therefore, your so-called flaws are covered by My blood and My Holy Spirit.

As you yield yourself to Me, I’ll lead you to your victory. For I do have victory planned for you. As a matter of fact, I have victory planned for each one of Mine.

When My Spirit is invited into one’s heart, I fill their heart with My victory. Then I lead and direct each one to the victory I have planned for each one specifically. 

FEAR OF SHORTAGES

Lord, Abba Father God, I’m afraid of shortages.

Child, you’ve been caught up in fear. Preparation is good, but fear? No, fear is destructive.  Child, as you seek My wisdom, I will lead you. 

But you must seek My voice and listen. Cut out some of that endless noise of media and listen carefully for My voice speaking to your heart. Remember I spoke to Elijah in a small, still voice. I never yell or scream.

Child, this is your word for today. “Listen, trust, and obey.” Focus on that. Then watch and see what I will do. And let go of your performance-based love, both for yourself and others. 

Yes Sir. Help my unbelief. Increase my faith, especially my faith in You. And help me to let go of my performance-based love, both of myself and others too.

FEED ON THIS

Become one with Him, no longer counting on being saved by being good enough or by obeying God’s laws, but by trusting Christ to save me; for God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith – counting on Christ alone. Philippians 3:9 TLB

For every child of God can obey Him, defeating sin and evil pleasure by trusting Christ to help him. 1John 5:4 TLB

For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!           Ephesians 2:8 TPT

The Gluttony Monster

The Gluttony Monster

Lord, I think this gluttony monster comes to my house every evening. And when the compulsion from this monster hits, I don’t even stop to think. It consumes me.

I need more discipline, consistency, strength, and the power to say ‘No’ to this food obsession, this gluttony monster. I can’t change myself because I am powerless over myself.

But My Child, I have all the power you need.

Lord, My day starts out so good. I eat appropriate and sufficient. But then after supper, here comes this gluttony monster to consume my health.

Yes Child,  I see it all. My heart hurts for you. And I long to set you free. It is My will to set you free. 

So Lord, what can I do? I know You said to semi-fast for 40 days. But ever since that day, I’ve been invaded by this overwhelming compulsive to overeat. In fact, I’ve been eating like crazy.

I know You said, ‘Come to You’. But I haven’t stopped eating long enough to ‘come’ to You. Lord, I don’t know what to do.

I want to please You. I want to love You as I should. But here I am, all messed up.

I can pray words, “Create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit”. But they are only words, just words, unless I change.

Child, I have watched you and I’ve been waiting for you even as you fell. But I’m always waiting to catch you. I will help you, for I have the power.

You will win over this addiction, over this gluttony monster. You will defeat this compulsion for I created you to be a victor. I created you for victory.

So Lord, what do I do?

Pray without ceasing. Every hour of every day come to Me. Check it off your time schedule if you must. But you must come to Me.  

Lord, I do want You to create in me a clean heart. And I long for a steadfast spirit before You. Fill me with Your sweet Presence daily and forevermore.

Child, I intend to. You will win over this compulsive gluttony monster. For I am THE WINNER and I created you to be a winner too. Therefore expect victory.

Be strong in the Lord

There are no perfect people, but God has already planned for your victory.

Expect victory. You will have your victory for I have already designed it. I am holding it in My hand. And you are a winner. You will win.

It may look like defeat to you. But when I look at you, I see a winner. You are Mine. You are a winner for I have already declared it so. 

Now get up and wash your face. Go forth today marching in your victory

Thank you Lord for not giving up on me.

Child, I never give up on any of My children.

You Chose Another

You chose another.

You chose another. But My child, choose My Presence instead.

Child, you chose another. But you could have had My Presence last night. My child, I want you. Choose Me.

I’ve called you to a higher purpose other than to listen to others and eat your treats.

You could have had Me, but instead you chose another.

Oh Lord, I feel like such a failure.

You’re never a failure. Instead, you’re a lesson.

Child, you’re learning with new learning everyday and I want to teach you. It’s not your “to do” list. It’s not the voice of others . But it is I who will take you into your victory.

Victory is not getting it all done. Victory IS My Presence. I gave you a way out when your friend called. But you ate your snack afterwards.

Child, when you’re looking in the refrigerator or the cabinet for something to eat, what you’re really craving is My Presence.

My Lord.

You could’ve come to Me. But you chose another.

Oh Lord, I’m so messed up.

You chose another.

Choose My Presence, for I AM peace.

Child, come to Me and I will heal you. I’ll heal you both inside and out. It’s the inside of you, your spirit that determines your behavior and your actions.

Lord, help me.

Child, your mind is on too many different things. And you have much confusion, anxiety, fear, and busywork. You strive to get it all done. The highest call you have is stay in My Presence. That’s your highest calling, not your job, not your housework, and not your hobbies.

Instead, I’m your highest calling. Your attention is on too many different things. I want your focus on My Presence. Seek Me and I will supply for all your needs. You stress unnecessarily over many things.

You chose another. But I will lead you to your victory.

You chose another. But it is I who will lead you to your victory.

Child, as long as you have My Presence, you’ll have My peace. Have no worries for I’m holding you in My hands. . . And as is My will. . . It will be done.

Remember back when you used to snatch times, different times in your day to talk to Me? Do that again. Do it again.

You need Me. You need My Presence to direct you. Satan desires to destroy your future and the influence you have on others. But I will overcome. Now come to Me to a higher place of victory.

No longer walk in defeat for I have plans for you a hope and a future, not to harm you, but to prosper you.

A New Day Of Victory

A New Day of Victory

Today is a new day for you, a new day of victory.

But Lord, I binged last night.

Yes Child, I saw the whole thing. And it made Me sad for you. It makes Me sad when I watch as My children give up and are defeated.

A new day of victory

“Victory is yours”, says the Lord.

In spite of my failures Lord, I do want to help others.

Then Child, do what you know is right. If you stay true to what you know. Then I will bless you to help others. 

Lord, is this food shortage for real?

Yes, My Child. This baby formula was a test. In fact, it is the beginning. 

My Lord, can they be defeated?

A new day of victory

Dance and rejoice for your victory is here. Victory in Jesus.

Yes, Child. I have arranged their defeat, for I will win. Always, I AM the winner.

Lord, am I a fake?

No, My Child. Instead, you are truly a struggler. 

So how can I win?

Through My Presence and My power.

But Lord, what can I do? What do You want me to do?

Child, I want you to listen to My words. Especially listen with open ears. Then obey as I lead you. 

Also Lord, how can I contribute to help others unless I make more income?

My Child, don’t you know how I helped Jacob and many others during a famine? Do you not think I can help you? 

Child, I want your mind clear from all other voices. Because I want to speak to you Myself with My own words of encouragement. 

Lord, is my time of success over? Did I let it go?

No My Child, you lost some time. But it’s not over until I say it’s over. 

So Lord. what do I do?

Come to Me. Give Me your dreams.

Is it too late for me? Am I too old?

Child, I’m going to turn your life all around. Do you expect blessings to come to you?

Lord, I remember my Dad saying, “Pay your tithes and God will bless you.”

Yes My Child, I am blessing you. I am your sponsor and your coach. And I will lead you and teach you. Hasn’t it always been that way? 

Yes Sir.  Healing Begins Today

I’ve helped you all these years. So come to Me now. 

Yes Sir. Lord, what do I do? What do You want me to do?

In spite of what you feel or think, today is a new day for you. It’s a new day of victory.

So Lord, what do I do?

Rejoice for your victory is at hand.  In fact I’m turning all things around, even for you too. Today is a new day for you, a new day of victory.

However, victory comes through struggles. So whatever happens, keep your faith. Never give up.

Lord, at times I think I need a more powerful church.

 My Child, you are exactly where I put you.

Come and listen to My counsel. I’ll share My heart with you and make you wise. Proverbs 1:23 NLT

In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. Psalms 138:3 NKJV

Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us Romans 8:37 NLT

Keep a close watch on all you do and think . Stay true to what is right and God will bless you and use you to help others. 1 Timothy 4:16 TLB
