Bad Dream – “Being Fatted, Are You Ready For The Kill?”

Posted on by

Bad dream, when’s the last time you had one? What was it about? I hate having bad dreams, don’t you?

“Being Fatted, Are You Ready For The Kill?” Last week, these words came in a bad dream. As soon as they were spoken in my dream, I woke up. And it was as though the Lord was speaking to my heart.

Now it could have been the result of guilt from overeating the night before. You know, “It’s from what you ate.” Literally. But it also could have been God warning me what could happen if I didn’t straighten up and get my act together. What do you think?

My Bad Dream-

“Being Fatted, Are You Ready The Kill?”

Child, you’re being fatted, are you ready for the kill? In fact, Satan has set out to kill you, your testimony, and your victory. To begin with, He used temptation to steal your victory and damage your testimony. Then He destroyed your confidence and your ability to influence and encourage others lose weight. And what’s worse is that you let him without a fight, without a struggle.

You let Satan win and kill your testimony. By the way, he’s not finished yet. In fact, He intends to kill your chance of ever having victory. Now he’s fattening you for the kill. So what will you choose? You get to choose. Will you succeed in your victory or not?

(This fat watermelon is ready for the kill.)

Child, just as all others, you get to choose. Do you choose an abundant life of victory in overcoming or defeat, resulting in death to your testimony? You get to choose. It’s all about your choice. What will it be? What will you choose?

. . .  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:8-11

Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 NLT

And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet shortly. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Romans 16:20 NLT

At least this watermelon weighs more than me. It weighs 190 pounds.
