20131009-062627.jpgLord, I’m so down. When I look around all I see is things that didn’t turn out like I thought they should. It seems that nothing has turned out right. My beloved friend, now with You, once told me that I was like ‘Pollyanna”. She said, “That’s why I keep you around, you’re so positive.” But I feel so depressed and disappointed.  Since June of 2013,  I have lost a friend, my brother-in-law, my precious Mother, my Mother-in-law who was a second mother to me, and now my best friend.

Some of these, I can understand their promotion to Your “Glory-land” due to their sickness or age. But Lord, my best friend had so many dreams of serving You. She lived in the pain of M.S. for years, but constantly dreamed of being a testimony of Your mighty healing power. I’ve never seen such faith; she bought fashionable, expensive clothes, jewelry, and even make-up from catalogs and QVC  in  preparation. She told me all she lived for was to bring You glory. I thought that the ‘miracle’ of her healing would cause others who have lost faith to believe again. This would have been really good public relations for Your cause, but You took her home and all our dreams dissolved.  Why weren’t You interested in using her testimony of healing for Your glory?

I just don’t understand all this, why so much death? I read and hear about the Christians and others suffering in other countries, how could You let this happen.  Now I question, what is the meaning of our lives? Do we all just struggle thorough the motions of our individual agendas and then when it’s over, it’s just over? Those I loved had plans and dreams they never saw fulfilled and the martyred Christians  had dreams too.

Right now I need junk food, especially sweets, and lots of it too. I need the comfort and pleasure of food and I’m sitting here with a full belly. Why not? After all, wasn’t it King Solomon that said, “All life is meaningless, just eat, drink, and be merry”? I wonder if any of our struggles or busy activities have any meaning. Are we all just as ants, running around in endless activity, yet accomplishing nothing? Lord, are You there? Do You hear our cries?

My child, I always hear the cries. At times, I cry Myself. You have heard that “He wipes away all tears”, but no one wipes away My tears and I cry heartbroken for My loved ones.  I understand your pain and your questions. It is okay that you ask, just don’t ever turn away and reject My love for I will always love you.

I do have plans for each one, but I will never force My plans on anyone. Instead I wait for their love and I call each name. If they would only listen, they would hear Me calling.

You are right about some being weak and tired, so I do call them home. I’m thrilled to have them with Me.  I long to have My loved ones to free them from the chains of earthly struggles.

But there are also some that I know are not ready because they have rejected My Love. For those I weep brokenhearted. I could not change their mind or will. They chose to live without Me and they chose to die without Me.

— Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants. Truly I am your servant, Lord; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains. Psalm 116:15,16 NIV

— Jesus wept. John 11:35

Concerning your best friend, she is My friend too. I gave My life that she might live forever in victory. Would you rob her of the joy she now has?

No Sir.

She is in My Glory, dancing in My victory shining brightly for all to see how this diamond reflects My light. So rejoice for her, My child. She has won the prize of victory!

— And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.  1 Peter 5:10 NIV

You have heard it said that Jesus endured every temptation known to mankind. This is true. But I have also experienced and endured every pain know to mankind through the scourging and the cross. All the pain beyond your imagination I suffered just for you and the others as well. Yes, I know their pain and it breaks My heart. But I have a plan, a plan for victory and you will see it. So rejoice My child, don’t eat these ‘mully-grubs’ for My victory is coming.

—And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV

—However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him— 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV

  1. Debbie, this just knocked me out of the water. So good, so real I didn’t know what to say or how to respond. And you hear and share Our Father’s precious answers! Thank you. Sorry for this terrible sadness. One day you’ll KNOW it was temporary. Momentary light afflictions (that seem overwhelming) are building eternal weights of glory–the good, the vital, the weighty important powerful God-pleasing character, the things God knows are gold purified, not hay, wood, and stubble! I pray HE will carry, hold, and comfort you. He will wipe away ALL our tears and brokenness one day.
